Very good service numbers for ERV outside of his poor serve percentage in set two. Korolev only lost seven points on serve in the first set but struggled to hold the final two. ERV had chances to go up a double break in the third set, didn't take them, and Korolev had a BP at *3-2 to get back into the match and couldn't convert. Still a good week overall for Zhenya, something to build on.

Zhenya . Hope he continues his comeback and makes it into top 100 again :yeah:.

This ball-basher will never be top-100 again. He'll be ranked around 515-520 next week and simply doesn't have the mentality to come back to the top. Time to play some Futures.

I agree. He will never be a top 100 player again. I'm actually a little surprised he hasn't retired or taken a long sabbatical. I knew that, once he fell from the top 100, he wasn't good enough to just jump back in it. It's going to be a struggle and his commitment is in question.
With all of this being said, let's see where he goes from here after this week.

Korolev will drop outside the top 500, His commitment after his injury was bad. He has only played 9 tournaments in the past year, becuase he doesn't like playing challengers or futures.

Doud :worship: At a career high right now and building on it. :yeah:
Korolev  Get your ass back where you belong.
