If Rafa is committed he is the favourite for Halle given his results at Wimbledon the last two years. The only problem is that he tends to only play a few matches in the grass tune ups. He's not bothered about winning them.

When was the last time that happened, again? Generally if you lose two of the first three matches then you're not playing well enough to get through the semis, even if you do somehow manage to get there.

When he played at Queens,he did double duty too.But now that he has less time to prepare,he probably will change plans what he will do regarding the Halle tourney.A lot deppends on the commitments he has to do after the French Open final and when he will get to Germany.There are a lot of variables.

I think top players who reaches RG final / SF, should play Borg schedule : no tourneys between RG and Wimby. People actually need rest.
