First win for Benni over Dima in five tries. Benjamin got mad over a linecall in the first set when a ball was called in, which he thought was out, that would have given him two BPs at 2-1 in the first set. He lost the game and immediately got broken at love at 2 all, fell apart and the set was Dima's. But the final two sets, Tursunov simply made too many errors and Benjamin did a better job of attacking Dima's second serve and took control of more rallies.

6th career challenger title for Becker.

Yes! Great win. Could do some damage in Halle and the next weeks. Too bad he plays Berdych in second round.

Utterly disgraceful performance by Tursunov both game- and behaviour-wise. He was average at best at the first set, only won it thanks to Becker completely throwing out one of his service games (made a DF and two FH CC UEs from winning poistions). Then Tursunov just tanked set 2 having lost his first service game. As for the third set the Russian did nothing but pushing and framing his shots. it was Becker who was constructing all the points and actually going for winners.
Turusnov also went mad over one of the balls that, he thought, should have been called out (it was 2-all deuce, IIRC). Kept whining, moaning and arguing with the chair umpire for like half an hour. Deservedly got warning. To his credit, he did shake the chair ump's hand after the match though.

are you kidding me?

becker was the pusher and dima was the one taking risks, especially the game at 3-2* in the third, becker saved 2bps with big serves, other than that he lost every single rally in most of the deciding set, after dima got robbed by the umpire he collapsed mentally, thats the only thing i agree on.
