No surprise. He had a massive celebration when he beat Isner, clearly had no interest in going any further. Ultimate Rafa fanboy.

Not too surprised. He's the most overranked player in the top 20 alongside Lopez. At least Feliciano's got his serve as a weapon, Monaco is only quite consistent and just plain boring.

Hopefully he plays a blazing Rodger at wimby and loses 0-6 again. Perhaps Nole and Murray in the last 2 slams this year instead to complete a top 4 ass beating.

Kohlsschreiber's win is not in the same league as Rafa's or Fed's, that was a long battle where he just let go at the end.

 Are you talking about when he beat Isner in Houston? Because it was Mathieu who beat Isner at RG.

What an era, what a great time this is for men's tennis.

Yeah, it was much better when the top player was losing in R1 of a Grand Slam to someone like Gilbert Schaller.

Bagel master mugnaco. Pathetic. It's just not possible to be good enough for top15 and utter trash vs the top 4, well, certainly not as ridiculously useless as he is against them. Take your tongue out of Rafa's ass and start playing tennis you friggin nut sack.

Monaco is a very good player, he just was unlucky to meet Nadal and Federer "in the zone" on their best surface the day he met them.

Really some posters like being cruel

Someone has to keep the bagel enthusiast entertained. Thanks to Pico and Hass they are having a whale of a time at this RG.

can nadal overcome the curse of bageling monaco?

Monaco doesn't have a serve, so it's not surprising that he receives many bagels when he's being outplayed.

Against Nadal he got 0 (zero) free points off his serve in the whole match. His serve doesn't even put him in a position to dictate play against a decent returner.

Pico has made the most of his abilities and his ranking is well deserved as is everyone else's.

This.

Just curious though, anyone do any research on players who have been bageled at every Slam? If you play enough matches it's bound to happen to a ton of players, so maybe set a limit like a bagel at every Slam within a 3 or 5 year span or something?

Well against Murray he plays well, his 2-2 against Murray.

Its funny how people chose to remember what they want. The fact the everyone is saying that Raonic is a clay courter whereas his only good performance was Barcelona. And forgetting that Monaco has had good matches against Djokovic the past few months. There is no doubt that Monaco is a mental midget, which is usually a problem as he checks out of matches at times. wanna see him play well watch Miami 2012.

Monaco was heralded as GOAT as little as a month ago when he reached the SF of Miami.

Never ceases to amaze me the amount of bandwagoning/flavor-of-the-monthing/hyping that goes on in this place.
