Really? No thread about him?

I think this guy deserves a thread. I talked to a chinese fan some months ago and he told me the tennis-related people from china are expecting Di wu's incursion in the main tour.

Okay... These are the things I know about him.

- He seems pretty talented, but he's already 20, and I remember some years ago, people said he would be into top 100 at this age.

- He won 2 futures in 2010 and one in 2011.

- His 2012 season is the best in his career so far. He's 379 in the world and he won 3 futures tournaments, 2 in china and one in south korea, he won some davis cup matches too.

I don't know... I'm still expecting his arrival to the main tour. I believe he can be a good player.

Didi has been fairly eye-catching in challengers recently~~Keep it up, do better in first serve, and,,, stop being a lazybone!

I'd say he can reach top 100 someday and I hope he does.

I watched some of his matches at the start of the year at Hopman Cup, he lost all his singles but not badly. All against the top level and experienced players.

Di Wu is the same height as Ferrer, at 5'9" he's considerably shorter compared to his compatriots around his age. Doesn't seem to have any particular shot with more power, maybe a work in progress.
But he seems to fight harder and I think he has produced greater results overall even though Ze Zhang is currently the No.1 ranked Chinese ATP player.

I noticed he's scoring some good results lately, just reached the Beijing Challenger final and in the semis again this week at the Karshi Challenger.

wu and zhang are both huge chances to get into the top 100 by the end of next year imo
not sure right now which is better ze had some great results earlier in the year as well but looks like Wu is coming along stronger now in the 2nd half
i think it will be tight who will finish higher this year as well :)
