Colonel was hilarious some fine errors, writing sorry in the court with his shoes for how poor he was today.

Ferrer just relentless.

WTf happened? just saw the last point and the stats. Ferrer got only 12W for 11 UES. How bad did Youzhny had to play to lose 0,2 and 2?

Three wishes for a great competitor:

1. Can he finally reach RG semifinal...

2. Can he finally win the first set against Nadal...

3. Can he finally win a tiebreak against Nadal...

Never seen someone celebrating points like Youzhny did in the last set.

Colonel smashed his racquet in the 1st set and the French crowd cheering you know it's a strange day.

Clownzhny couldn't even smash his racket properly :haha:

Youzhny was pathetic :haha: good riddance. I think his career is on the decline.

Ferrer will get to the semis and then bend over for Nadal, as is his nature :o

Ferrer to reach his first FO SF this year :rocker:

and go down easily to Nadal of course, but then who wont by the looks of it this year?

One of the joys of watching Youzhny are his animated expressions following the loss or win of a point. Apart from that he was abysmal at best, with only 2 points that stand out which happened in succession: two great shots at the net to win a service game and a tweener that didn't count.

Even if Youzhny had taken the BPs he had, you still felt Ferrer had another gear to go to. Looking great and consistent.. let's just hope that translates into a competitive result vs. Murray/Nadal.

Russians are not very subtle when they decide to tank a match, aren't they?

I know that colonel haven't any busissness against David in RG, but he might show some interest to avoid this sensation of scam, and the lack of respect for tennis and people who pay a ticket, etc.

I don't know, it doesn't get any more subtle than writing you're sorry on the court

At least Youzhny tried to entertain us with his humor

I have not watch that. The 'show' was so bizarre that I changed the tv channel at the end of the second set.

I have not watch that. The 'show' was so bizarre that I did zapping at the end of the second set.

Youzhny was just poor, he tried to play but couldn't do anything at all. Apologising to the crowd during the match and the French will boo a lack of effort, yet they didn't.

Very solid from Ferrer, I hope he can beat Murray

The racquet smash from Youhzny was decent at least.

No boos, they knew he really meant it when he said he was "sorry" ; Misha is a crowd favourite here anyway.

Convincing third set from Ferrer.

Youzhny was just dreadful, hilarious celebrating the few good points he played in the final set. Even more funny was when Ferrer's ball got called out and overruled during the one decent rally of the match.

Well, that turned out to be a lot easier than expected for Ferrer. He didn't really have to do much because Youzhny just didn't turn up at all. He was awful.

On the bright side, he was hillariously entertaining throughout though.

At least he didn't smash his face with the racquet this time.

Sorri :D This could become a new MTF phrase.

Ajde. Deal with it. Sorri.

Just found out about the Sorri move by Youzhny, I give him props he understand this is his profession but at the same time people payed good $ to see some decent tennis. He wasn't able to give them much of anything and he felt bad. Takes a man to do something like that, I applaud you Mikhail.
