Hope he does well. Good for the game to have veterans like him and Hasi and Ferrero still hanging around and showing the kids that despite injuries, they still have a hunger for the game.

Sometimes I still see his name in the grand slam draw 4th round, on reflex.

Robredo doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Haas/Ferrero tennis wise or character wise.

He is on level with Haas maybe but Ferrero is definately a league above both of them ;) He was a true fighter and still is :)

Never thought his returns were that impressive to start a thread about it

Good to see him back, he's still a good player, or at least was before his latest leg injury and subsequent surgery. Tommy returning to the top 30 depends on how much of his game returns and how much the layoffs have hurt him. We'll just have to wait and see.

A fully fit, healthy Robredo should make it back to the Top 30 easily IMO. :)

Robredo is a mug and not only that but an overconfident one. I still remember how he said he belonged in the Top 10 in 2002 at RG. What a joke.

don't want to say anything on this topic because it could be characterised as wishing injury post

lol, I can't recall another player in the past decade where the tennis fanbase's response is "no no, please retire."
