Makings of a long one for sure.

Gasquet stands too far behind the baseline at times, looking forward to this one.......:worship:

I wouldn't exactly consider Haas to be fit to go five, either. This is going to have a lot of drama.

Gasquet in 4.

Haas poses some threat, but I'd expect Gasquet to win. Not sure how it will pan it out, though - whether it will be comfortable, or a longer match.

Excellent chance for Gasquet to reach a maiden QF at his home event, although the irony is that he just can't cope with the pressure. A 34-year old veteran isn't a bad draw for R3, and Giraldo/handicapped Murray is another gift in R4. Time for him to deliver.

Zidane vomited too against England in 2004 Euro just after his free-kick goal and before his penalty. But he was the hero of the match anyway. Vomiting is a sign of genius.

Gasquet's match to lose this. I expect him to improve from today's performance. Haas is going to run out of gas. This is an equivalent of a SF in terms of the number of matches he has played so far

I suspect the folks at RG have screwed him over by not giving him a wild card. Already a massive effort from gramps to win 5 matches on clay. None of his matches have been physically taxing so far so it should be an amazing match, at least for singlehanded backhand enthusiasts.

Between Gasquet's perky butt and Haas' entire body I am going to be in a perpetual state of arousal.

If Drugsquet is sober, he'll win in easy 3. If, however, he visited his supplier AKA Martina Hingis recently, he should win in tight 4 sets.

Oh boy, i should open a bookmaking service

Gasquet will win relatively easily this match in most probably 3 sets (if he doesn't lose in TB the first one).

But MTF is anamazing place

I think Haas will take this in straights. Gasquet hasn't been too impressive IMO. Haas has a much better forehand and is a smarter player.

Haas' forehand was pathetic against Volandri. Must have improved significantly in the second round.

Hasi has rolled through to this stage, barring a 2nd set lapse against Volandri. I can't imagine the qualies were too taxing for him either, especially given the scorelines.

I reckon Haas will take this is no more than 4 sets as I wasn't too impressed with Gasquet against Dimitrov last round.

I'd rather see him not playing those qualies ever again :p
Even the scorelines were great, at this age, and considering his 'fragile body' those quali matches can hurt him. Because after all, c'mon he doesn't deserve to enter main draw by playing qulies :p

Haas has a shot.

BTW DC was a great match, while 2006 Tommy was brilliant at the AO, took Peakerer the distance.

DC was indeed high class tennis. The US Open match wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination, and the 2006 was just a pure demolition I soiled my panties for in person.

Fed sucked that AO.Had a pathetic draw and was in trouble almost every night

Gasquet has never been great at Roland Garros, and Haas is a quality player still, so I'd be surprised if we don't see the veteran in the last 16.

Rebound Ace was a very good surface for shotmaker-type players.
