Strong play from Nando the final three sets.

Pretty shocking he was down a set and break for a while. Will be curious to see how much resistance he can pose Djokovic in the 4R - we're a long way away from their 2010 matches but those will still give Verdasco confidence.

Strong performance by Muller in most of the first two sets, much better than his first round match, but he had no chance once Verdasco found his game. His choking in the second set didn't help either, he should've won that one.

Typical Muller  Plays very well and follows his game plan perfectly until the first thing goes wrong. Won the 1st set, was up a break in the 2nd, lost that break advantage immediately, and it went downhill instantly.

Anyway, Gilles' clay season this year exceeded my expectations. Some good results prior to French Open, won 1st round match here, and won a set vs Verdasco. Overall, well done.

I'm not saying he'll stand a chance, just that those wins will help him in his dense head. Verdasco's head usually gets in his way.

Sorry, always.

How don't you guys love Verdasco's game when he's not spraying errors all over the place? Of course he is a mental midget but it's great to see him play when he's in the zone. Muller has to be happy he avoided another Seppi encounter, that H2H isn't looking good.

True, if he's playing at his peak level, he can be very impressive. But he rarely is, at least in the games I've seen.

"Mental midget" really fits, probably also the reason why Verdasco's TB statistic is terrible. 16:128 really isn't something to be proud of. (Muller is at 71:54 I think.)

Nando has a shot at Djokovic, don't underestimate him.

Ppl did that at a certain AO...

When the guy is on he's more dangerous than Berdych on any surface, so it might get interesting at one point

Good to see Verdasco playing well. Hopefully can make at least a set competitive vs. Djoko

What TB record is that? GS or his whole career?. If that's his whole career then it's not surprising but still...:tape::tape::ignore:.

How naive one should be to even consider such a thing is possible on the planet Earth?

He's won a minimu of 40% of his TBs and that would be a bad stat, but there probably isn't a pro player with over 100 TBs to have won less than 40% of them. It's just not possible

Well that's why I questioned it of course. Implausible but not impossible
