Well done South Tyrolean man best finally a 3rd round at RG.

Too bad this wasn't streamed. Tight 1st set then some funny scores in the last 4 I wonder if Kuku opened his eyes with the ballbashing or got tired after the previous 5 setter, but who knows about that.

Pfew, much too close against a guy that had a tough match in 1st round.
But good that he got the win, now please beat Isner.

Confidence if it was a commodity it would have one of the highest prices on the share market. Seppi has been in excellent form and getting the rewards for his work, he isn't the most gifted but making the most of his talents.

Probably already in Mateya's arms as we speak.

Nice to see AJ get the first post.

I was too focused on other activities to care about being first here. But AJ does have a quick trigger when it comes to his faves. Especially Seppi.

The garbage has been removed from the event, cannot complain.

No, he has business to take care of first. As for the other part that happens in Umag :)

Seppi deserves to finally reach last 16 in a Grand Slam tournament, will be tough against Nando though.

I mean Mateya will strike in Umag, but just hope Seppi wins the next match.

Seppi officially 9-9 in five-setters but won one more 5-setter (last round of qualifying to Wimbledon '05 against Simon).

Cause of the Olympics this year Seppi won't be at Umag. Stupid calendar this is, but just hope he takes down Verdasco or Muller in the next round. He's defeated one ballbasher, another one awaits.

Excellent effort from Seppi! Again, judging by the stats, very good service numbers for him (aside from first serve % which wasn't too high) winning 74% of the points when playing with his first serve and hitting 12 aces. Of course, it was a long match, but still convincing numbers there. Very pleased with this result, he really had to take advantage of the draw as he's a better and steadier player than Kukushkin and, if he manages to get past the winner of Verdasco/Muller, it will be his best result ever at a GS tournament. Looking forward to the next round!

Well, there aren't any Challengers going on this week to report inane scores and all your faves have practically been massacred out of the tournament, so I can't imagine what activities you were doing when this forum encapsulates your entire being:sad: Was there a new Frappucino marketed at Starbucks this week that you were just dying to try?:haha:

Why do you make it your authority to make as many match results threads? Do you have nothing better to do? :stupid:

Kuku probably run out of gas.

So much gossip about me and Seppi in this thread. :p But yes, Olimpics really screwed Umag event this year.

I'm not sure the match was over 20 seconds earlier.

It was when I was watching it, I posted it when Djokovic was walking to the net. I was watching it on ESPN, it was a lot quicker than the internet feeds.
