His movement wasn't hampered in Madrid though. There's no way Juan can beat a player like Marin while moving like he did today, he'll lose unless his knee can somehow be sorted out in two days (unlikely) or Marin clowns the match away.

You never know; Marin is a player who thrives on confidence. If he beat even an injured Delpo who's kind of been his bete noire in recent times, I could definitely see him trouble and maybe beat Tomas.

If Marin repeat today's performance and if is Del Potro repeat his tennis from this year RG Marin win win easily. Marin will beat Berdych for sure with this form.

But I know Del Potro will play very good and will win easily.

Like most pointed out, it really depends on how hurt Del Potro is. If he was injury-free, no doubt he would be a massive favourite to win this match rather comfortably. Isn't the case so i'm leaning towards a 4-set win for Cilic, Juan should still give a fight.

Delpo's injury is really disappointing! Now we will miss a hell of a match in R4 against Berdych. Even if he manages to get past Cilic (unlikely), would be easy for Tomas under these circumstances.

Delpony was already knee injured in Madrid and he didn't pull out...now his knee's getting worse. He reminds me Fatdall who destroyed his body paying no attention to his fitness...
Be careful Depony, Fatdall is the worst ex ever, don't do like him, have some rest when you need it. RG is more important than Estoril. If you had skip that small event, maybe would you be injury free today.
If Delpony can't run, either he'll W/O or he'll be beaten by Cilic. If he can run and chase the ball, he'll win. All depends of his injury, serious or not

I'm surprised so many people are choosing Cilic. I thought Delpo actually looked pretty good today. Cilic won't exploit Delpo's movement as much as many other players. I give the edge to Delpo in 4 sets based on his superior game and H2H, hope he proves me right.

Just wish the big man could stay healthy for a long enough period of time to gather his confidence and upset a Top 4. He really relies on match play and top-notch health to feel like he can win. That's exactly what his 2009 was - he was building momentum all year from the Aussie summer to the US summer.

Even a 4 setter with a score line like that will leave him completely useless for the Berdych match. Honestly, he should not be playing and risking another major injury. There will be more RGs for him... He's only 23 for pete's sake...

Two big bruisers. Hmm probably Potro in 4. Cilic is one of the most mentally weakest players out there. He was lucky to defeat Potro last time given the combination of high UEs at the Australian Open not to mention the heat getting to Potro which gave Cilic a chance to get a win over him back then.

Should be a very interesting match. Del Potro will have to dictate and make a good start.
