Simon

Wawrinka

Troicki

Cilic

Del Potro (dubious knee condition, were he 100% healthy he'd not be included)

Youznhy

Gasquet

Tomic

Anyone else is a long shot, I think

Nadal is always in danger with the Simon Reed Jinx waiting, lurking around, ready to pounce.

i actually think schwank, ferrero and zeballos are the favorites in their matches and the upset would be if they lost

i hesitate about rosol/monaco as well. Apparently lukas played really well today and juan was average

Troiki, Cilic, Youzhny and maybe Tomic

IMO, In real danger of losing: Troicki, Granollers (mainly due to his injury), Tomic and Anderson.

Less likely to happenen but still risky round for them: Simon, Wawrinka, Cilic and Kohlschreiber.

marcel got injured again?

Unfortunately yes, see his match thread, was playing with a leg taped and was visibly bothered by it. Hope it's nothing serious.

(10)john isner
(8)janko tipsarevic

Seppi already overperformed.Kukushkin has a chance.
Baker and Llodra percentage wise are to me best for upsets.
ERV can be very, very dangerous (Nice match pretty close with Almagro) especially against not 100% fit Del Potro.
Paire is a total nutcase, but this might be his big breaktrough win over Ferrer.
Haase has a really nice chance over Youhzny.
Isner, No.10 seed? He should start practising grass,PHM to buy him a ticket.
Chardy struggled big time today, but if Janko lost a set to Querry, he might as well lose a match against Frenchman.

I would say Seppi, but I'm not sure how Kukushkin will bounce back from his match vs Gulbis.

Simon, Wawrinka, Troicki, Cilic, Anderson, Youzhny, Tomic, Benneteau, Monaco, and Mayer are the guys I can realistically see losing for sure. Berdych, Granollers, Tipsarevic and Kohlschreiber losing wouldn't surprise me. I can see Paire giving Ferrer trouble.

ERV can definitely make a match vs Del Potro. He has an attacking game and Del Potro isn't the best when he's being attacked rather than attacking himself. He's also not 100%. So that match could definitely end in a loss for JMDP.

Seppi needs to take advantage, Kukushkin is a dream opponent to have in the 2R of a GS.

I'd say that Troicki, Cilic, Anderson and Tomic are the favourites to lose.

Simon, Wawrinka, Delpo, Granollers and Youzhny are strong chances (Delpo and Granollers because of injury).

I reckon Mayer might be tested, Monaco could be upset, Seppi's a vague chance and Kohlschreiber, Berdych, Tipsaveric and Ferrer have good opponents (but all those are outside shots).

Why is Tomic a popular pick when he took out Giraldo in Rome remember.

giraldo is a good clay courter. Its probably a 50/50 match but i think alot of the people would pick tomic as a seed they want to see go down as a preference

So thee are more Tomic haters here than lovers, I thought it was maybe about 50/50.

it is 50/50, hence Tomic is in danger. This thread isn't which seeds are favorites to lose

Troicki's chances of upsetting Fogna are not good

Nadal, obviously. This clay mug will be lucky to scrape through against the titan awaiting him in the round 2.

Agree with the OP except for Granollers. Add Wawrinka.

Bolelli shotmaking>Murray, Nadal, and Djokovic.

That's all it comes down to.

This isn't the correct thread for such statements, though, so let's stay on topic.

Just what kind of feeling would that be.

In all seriousness, I don't have a very good feeling about any Murray match these days, if he doesn't take this one though, it could damage him in a big way.
