Hard to win against an attacking player like Stakhovsky when serving at 40%. Good win for Sergiy in the all Ukrainian battle.

39% first serves from Dolgo, not going to get the job done, 64 errors, and based on a report I read, he was not focused in the match and was complaining a lot.

Phew. Stak's biggest points come from this event. Good to see him survive in the top 100.

Ffs Dolgo. Another potentially superb young(ish) player who looks as though he's not going to make it.

Dolgo was looking damn good in practice. Then again this doesn't mean anything if you cannot keep focused during the match.

Future numero uno this Dolgopolov...yeah...actually,I like the guy,but from AO 2011 so many expectations, but real product isnt there-that`s because he doesnt have enough quality, its simple.

Seriously, what's going on with Dolgo's serve? 39%??? Jeebus.

I want to say that Dolgopolov is not good on clay but that was not the problem.
He is just not focused enough, he has to play with more serve percentages, he has to focus more.

1st serve: 64 pour 163 = 39 %

RNW

One of those easy, typical trainer-advises is to focus on every point and not to look on the scoreboard. I think, that for Dolgopolov this is not a good advise.
He needs to focus more on the scoreboard and he has to play more tactical.

This is all my fault :o Margareta, don't be mad at me!

I walked to RG on Saturday with Stakhovsky, told him hi, then said the crucial phrase-- good luck at RG, Sergey! And only AFTER that asked him whom he plays against! :banghead: He answered-- against Sasha Dolgopolov. I was :tape: and wanted to tell I take my good luck wish back but it was late

My good luck wishes have huge power, checked many times. I have to say that to the player in person though.

After that I knew Stakhovsky would win. I watched the whole match, Dolgopolov was not that bad except for the 5th set. But Sergey was just on fire!

Today I sat near Reiner (was it posted here that Schuettler is coaching Stakhovsky now?) and Sergey looked at him after every winning point. Reiner was very inspiring I must admit.

That's why Dolgo will never be a top player.

Simply too inconsistent and plain clownish.

He has Umag title to defend, that will be interesting.

As long as you don't wish good luck to Dimitrov, (Stakhovsky you did already :o), Haas, Murray, Ferrer, etc., etc. I forgive you.

Rainer is in Stak's team but I'm not sure if he's the coach of Stak or not.

Dolgo and Monfils are having an epic clown off. Monfils is in the lead simply due to longevity.

Obvious tank to avoid a black sock donning Haas though.

I have the same doubts. However, you could find in Wikipedia:
"Schuettler now coaches Sergiy Stakhovsky" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainer_Sch%C3%BCttler)

Stakhovsky on Twitter yesterday: "@Stako_tennis
A win is a win and I take it!!!)Thanks my beautiful wife @AnfiStak and my new supporting coach Rainer!"

Dolgo is the most overrated player on this forum with Gulbis. Let's face it : what did he win in his career ?? I don't know why people want him to do much, he can't do it and will never improve, period

Have you ever watched him? He makes tennis look easy, light and fluid and he is the master of the suprise shot, that's more than enough for me.
