That is not correct and real description of how they played today...Berdych played very solid match,Janko played better,espeacially on key points...Some points,when Janko defended-excellent quality of hitting,improvisation and counterattacks

I agree that his ROS wasn't good today but overall he played ok. He wasn't great and wasn't really bad. The thing is that when these 2 play, the important points and maybe some luck here and there could decides who wins the match. Janko was better in most of the big points but also was a bit lucky (in the 1st set when Tomas got a set points and was close to win the point but linesman saved Janko). This match could have gone either way.

I just don't agree with you that Tomas was bad overall. Just one aspect of his game was bad which is his ROS. Everything else was solid. He could beat most players on the tour with this level but he lost because Janko played a good match.

Congrats Janko only finally breaking that losing streak to Berdman. This rivalry has been very enticing. Most of their matches have been nailbiters and they seem to love playing against each other.
