Very solid in tough conditions from the Berdman.

Hope there will be less wind against Nadal or Berdych is toast.

Tragic... I've come to like Berdych less and less
Almagro's serve just did not work today

Tomas good form continues, Nico gave him a decent challenge but not quite enough.

Nice handshake.

Really Berdych was running on reserves most of the first set and was lucky to even get a tiebreak. Played a good tiebreak though and turned the match around there.

Almagro lots of chances, doesn't take them, bad tiebreak.

3-2 in second, on serve, getting close on Berd serve, fails, and blows his top. Breaks himself to love with three bad errors and a df, then basically tanks the rest of the match.

Berd is made of iron this season ..........except vs the big names.

The wind is fucking this tournament in the ass. Horrible tennis so far in almost every match except Murray - Nalbandian.

Hope there will be less wind against Nadal or Berdych is toast.

But wind renders Nadal's game totally ineffective.

Wind was the only reason Nadal lost against Fed in '12 Indian Wells, remember?

NID he'd lose the rest of the 2 games after being broken in the 2nd for *4-3

Berdych IS in good form.

As to handshake, always nice to see people admitting their mistakes :yeah:

Very good clay season from Berdych indeed, I can see him playing the role of Soderling at the FO this year.

Great win for Tomas!

His run probably ends here, but still another good result in his quest to break into the world's top 5 :D

Now do your best against Rafa.

Almagro should have won. But Berdych-Nadal is more interesting.

Almugro living up to his name.

He simply shouldn't lose to Berdshit on clay surface, too bad Almugro mentally capitulates against anyone decent, otherwise his career would consist of more than a few titles from some obscure 250 events in south america :o
