Madrid 3R: Tipsy disposes of Simon 7-6(3), 5-7, 6-1asmazif 05-10-2012, 09:50 PM Can safely say Tipsy was the better player 36 W to 27 33 UE to 45 3/14 BP to 1/1 :haha: espana 05-10-2012, 09:51 PM http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-9QWQ-l8pj0M/T6w4N-FaZRI/AAAAAAAAARU/uCQR8g91X5c/s1600/Simon-Tipsarevic.jpg espana 05-10-2012, 09:54 PM Simon was good the first two sets, but in the third set he was mishitting a lot, it was error after error from him. Tipsarevic was good throughout the whole match, he wanted it more. His first win over Simon. Janko well done Macbrother 05-10-2012, 10:00 PM Tipsarevic taking out the trash. NID 05-10-2012, 10:04 PM djoko should retire. no need to play on tiriac's 'surface'. let janko enjoy some extra cash... nick the greek 05-10-2012, 10:04 PM Eat that breadstick and shut your disgusting mouth you mug.Well done Tipsy. Some insane BH's DTL by Janko. All Serbian QF.MTF is delighted,no doubt. retister 05-10-2012, 10:05 PM I'm beginning to see why many consider him a fixer. It really seemed like he was botching some of those break points on purpose:confused: Lucilla 05-10-2012, 10:11 PM  time to rest and prepare for the further events, Gilles! Best of luck in Rome!:) Lopez 05-10-2012, 10:14 PM This must be the happiest I've been after my draw challenge is destroyed... Both Verdasco and Tipsa win :yeah: mystic ice cube 05-10-2012, 10:34 PM Great win for Tipsy with Simon in good form. Orange Wombat 05-10-2012, 10:52 PM Great Result:bigclap: I didn't expect it though. Janko played some beautifully constructed points and outplayed Simon. Simon is too harsh on himslef, he reminds me of Murray in this regard. Orange Wombat 05-10-2012, 10:54 PM Is this the record number of unforced errors Simon has ever made in a match? JamieMU30 05-10-2012, 11:05 PM Great win for Janko!!! Finally a win against Simon after some close matches in the past...He should have a shot against Nole tomorrow considering how Nole's movement on this clay is not that great. v-money 05-10-2012, 11:13 PM I'm beginning to see why many consider him a fixer. It really seemed like he was botching some of those break points on purpose:confused:  People consider him a fixer because two years ago big money was coming in on him to lose a match (even at poor trading prices), while he was a set up, playing a clay-court specialist, on an indoor court, and in Russia. People quickly connected the dots. Luckily he has moved up the rankings and isn't pulling that stuff anymore. Same deal for a player like Dolgopolov. Moving up the rankings was their saving grace. zlaja777 05-10-2012, 11:17 PM Tipsy master! nole_no1 05-10-2012, 11:21 PM Sweet revenge  Pretty solid on serve and a good match overall BroTree123 05-11-2012, 01:44 AM Good for tennis when an ugly pusher loses, even if it was Shitsarevic who takes out the garbage. Even better because a shit quality opponent beating a pusher = :yeah: Topspindoctor 05-11-2012, 01:45 AM The amazing thing about this match is that Simug lost. The awful thing about this match is that Fixarevic won. nick the greek 05-11-2012, 01:58 AM Nadull loses to Nando of all people,Tipsy wins. What a day for you. Pea 05-11-2012, 02:02 AM FINALLY, JANKO! Took forever! howyesno 05-11-2012, 02:53 AM one can only wonder what would happen if he decided to be serious about tennis earlier in his life. great talent and good luck to tipsy xdrewitdajx 05-11-2012, 05:10 AM tipsarevic looking more impressive than djokovic. henke007 05-11-2012, 05:13 AM Trash takes out the trash, win win... retister 05-11-2012, 08:24 AM Well, I still don't get why is Simon considered the ultimate pusher? He was attacking much more than Murray usually does, for example. BroTree123 05-11-2012, 08:55 AM The amazing thing about this match is that Simug lost. The awful thing about this match is that Fixarevic won. Tennis won more. But only very slightly. asmazif 05-11-2012, 09:16 AM Trash takes out the trash, win win... Isn't that seriously illogical - surely it's win lose, as one of the 'trash' has to remain? | |
