Good shit Milos.

Now let's see what you can do against Federer. Don't beat him though.

Raonic serving from the tree today and as for Nalbandian it's all about peaking for davis Cup.

Another game for Milos.

I'm glaad for Milos. 100% first serve points won. Top 10 until the end of the year if he avoids injuries.

Dismantled Nalbandian. Thought this might have been more competitive but Dave had no chance.

The court looks extremely fast to me, almost looks like some fast indoor court

I think Raonic's straight sets wins over Murray and Nalbandian on clay attest his baseline improvement.

indeed. I can see this guy winning everything.

Well, that was easy. The outcome of this one was never really in doubt. Very few lengthy rallies unlike Barcelona. The court seemed fast and played a lot like an indoor hard court (a surface that Milos tends to dominate on).

On to Federer, then. I think this time he's got a chance.

turned it on, saw Fit Dave donate two terrible UEs and a double to gift the break, turned it off

His matches against Murray and Ferrer in Barcelona showed that quite clearly. In this one, it was rare to see a prolonged baseline rally...Milos finished Nalbandian quickly.

It will be very depending on level of Federer..
Once Federer's able to get decent amount of serves in play..Milos pretty much has no chance whatsoever
But I reckon Milos probably has a bigger chance here than in indian wells.

This surface seems to suit Milos' game far better than those at IW (and he fared pretty well against Federer there). And while Federer should win the bulk of the rallies, I wouldn't say Milos has no chance whatsoever in them.

It's about time Raonic rises and finally hits at a high level that matches his age. A win over Federer should seal it.

That's what I hope for :)
The last 2 sets in IW kinda makes me feel like he still has way to go to hang around with the real top guys. But I am sure he can pull a surprise here and there given how fast he's improving :)

Great stuff from Milos, but Nalby sure clowned his ass off in his last servegame to get broken. He had 30-0 then lost 4 straight points (mainly by own UEs)

But Raonic is dangerous. Fed will have to go out there ready tomorrow or he's in for a dogfight.
Too bad Raonic isn't facing Nadal tomorrow.

Nalbandian must be a terrible player if he can't hit 3 shots in 4 points of all of his service games. Probably should retire if he can't hit 3 shots, game must have passed him by.

This is NOT CLAYyes it is, the problem is the serve bots with no game. even if it was the slowest clay in the world, a 150 mph serve is still a 150 mph serve.

This Raonic vs Nalbandian match reminded me of a Joachim Johansson vs Cañas match when the tournament was played in indoor hard back in 2004. Brilliant stuff to see and hear those bombs flying, let´s rock Milos :yeah:
