Good to see both Dorsch and Chikhladze back in action. Wonder if it's a one-off thing though.

Both guys aren't exactly clay court players either

How can it be that Matosevic is playing Cermak?
The match is not on the OOP and not in the qualy draw either

It's cause he's not, obviously, unless you are seeing something we aren't.

Simon Greul lost the first set against Kindlmann 5-7.
Greul was broken in his second service game, also had problems in his first, then he brokes back at 3-4* and serving to 5-4* and all in all losing it 5-7 after Kindlmann won three games in a row. Notable that Greul was 40-15 at 5*-5 but could not get throug this game with three game points. Then at 40*-A he made a double fault and was broken to 5-6* ....
This Greul is such a loser, Kindlmann with no big preperation to claycourt season, had big problems with Nils Langer yesterday who came from an injury, played a Future tournament in Greece last week on Carpet (!) although Greul played couple of matches on Clay in the last weeks with some good results.
Greul should retire from tennis when he can't defeat a player like Dieter Kindlmann on one of his best surfaces (outdoor clay+outdoor hard)...

btw: Second set Greul also with big problems in his first service game while Kindlmann is serving 4 of 4 so far...Greul is leading by 2 games to 1 (Kindlmann is serving...)

Kindlmann def. Greul 7-5,7-6(5)
Nothing say anymore about this guy named Simon Greul. He should finish his career with some good memories and thats it. Losing his serve two times after 40*-15 and making a lot of DFs when he is in trouble. Then at 4-*5 and 0-30 he won four points in a row break the serve of Kindlmann and came back into the match. But thats not enough because in the Tiebreaker he chokes again. Please, Simon, go home and retire.

Meffert def. Dorsch 6-3,6-1
Meffert with two very strong perfomances in Munich so far although Golubev was injured on his left knee(?)...today he managed to beat Dorsch who gave his comeback yesterday against double specialist Frank Moser. Meffert had 1st serve percentage of nearly 70%, serving 12 aces and losing only 10 points on his own serve (1 df)...
Dorsch was a little bit tired after his match yesterday, good first serve but with ~50% first serves in and only 36% winning points on his second serve you can not bring Meffert in trouble when he is in such a good form.

Goffin def. Hoiss 6-2,6-2
Hoiss made a big surprise yesterday when he defeated Bloemke who defeated guys like Dimtirov or winnig a set against top 50 player bogomolov last year on clay. But Hoiss is a good player. Good service and smart net play. But today without chance against Goffin who served like a bot, losing only 5 points on his service. GOffin should go through the main draw here without problems tomorrow, he will destroy Kindlmann.

Gojowczyk def. Sieber 6-3,7-5
I don't like Gojowczyk, for me he is a no-brain ballbasher. Today he make it comfortable in the first one, but second set was poor from both players. There were a couple of chances for Sieber to win this set, but he could not manage it. Should be interesting so see Gojowczyk against Matsosevic tomorrow.

Dustin Brown should destroy Martin Fischer tomorrow, can not see other outcome than a clear win for Dustin. Fischer is such a clown, losing to players like Gorcic or Ouahab, yesterday he dropped a set to SATSCHKO...also today in big trouble on his serve against Ritschard sometimes...Dustin will do his job and will play Main Draw here, no question...maybe he can make some surprises like 2011.

Goffin, Gojowczyk, Brown and Farah will go trough tomorrow and make the Main Draw.

You're very harsh on Greul  Kindlmann is not a bad player.

I'm not reading anything into Meffert's wins. An injured Golubev and a Dorsch who lacked match practice and has no clay game anyway.

Thanks for the report :yeah:

You're very harsh on Greul  Kindlmann is not a bad player.

Yes, he is not that bad, but Kindlmann has no weapons at all, he is solid when the ball is in the game but when you play some powerful groundstrokes he will make the error. Greul was unbelievable awul today, when he brokes back to 5*-5 i was sure that he will lose this in two sets. Greul is a joke at the moment, to my mind he should finish it and watch some videos from 2008 or 2009 at home. Kindlmann will be destroyed by Goffin tomorrow, would be suprised if he can make more than 5-6 games.

Easy wins for Matosevic and Farah in the FQR.
