Have to give the slight edge to Raonic right now, hope he and Isner meet in the Memphis final.
Who is the best North American player right now?MrEleganza 02-24-2012, 04:35 AM Have to give the slight edge to Raonic right now, hope he and Isner meet in the Memphis final. bassoon 02-24-2012, 04:41 AM I'd say Isner has the slight edge serve-wise and Raonic is the better returner. Seeing as so many mtf-ers look down on people who can 'only' serve, I guess that means Milos is better. :-) MuzzahLovah 02-24-2012, 04:44 AM Fish is the highest ranked for a reason. :D Pospisil is the best looking. bassoon 02-24-2012, 04:46 AM Fish is the highest ranked for a reason. :D Pospisil is the best looking. I can only agree with one of your statements..........and I'm no fan of Fish. MaratandMilos 02-24-2012, 04:47 AM At the level Milos is playing at this year, he's better than all of them. He also has a winning record against Fish in his career. viruzzz 02-24-2012, 04:49 AM I'm with Milos in this one. MuzzahLovah 02-24-2012, 04:53 AM At the level Milos is playing at this year, he's better than all of them. He also has a winning record against Fish in his career. Oh hai Nadal-is-the-real-GOAT-because-of-H2H-logic. :wavey: cmoss 02-24-2012, 04:56 AM It seem there're are a lot of people love Raonic. MuzzahLovah 02-24-2012, 04:58 AM It seem there're are a lot of people love Raonic. It's more that they hate rallies and graceful movement. cmoss 02-24-2012, 05:16 AM I like Raonic playing style, but he's yet to have the stability, accuracy and consistent needed. He serves strongly but his 1st serve rate isn't high, the opponents can abuse his 2nd serve..That loss to the old man Hewitt in AO proved that.I think the best is still Mardy Fish, higher ranked player always have their stability. MaratandMilos 02-24-2012, 05:43 AM Oh hai Nadal-is-the-real-GOAT-because-of-H2H-logic. :wavey: It's not just that, though. We both know that Fish is in terrible form and that Milos is dominating, which is what the question is about. MuzzahLovah 02-24-2012, 06:10 AM It's not just that, though. We both know that Fish is in terrible form and that Milos is dominating, which is what the question is about. Well, at this very moment- well in the last 2 or 3 weeks, Milos beat Istomin in a 250 final, and Isner beat Roger Federer on clay in Switzerland, so based on current form it has to be Isner. MaratandMilos 02-24-2012, 06:52 AM Well, at this very moment- well in the last 2 or 3 weeks, Milos beat Istomin in a 250 final, and Isner beat Roger Federer on clay in Switzerland, so based on current form it has to be Isner. You sure about that? Milos is 13-1 on the season, has won two tournaments this year and appears to be well on his way to a third. Outside of the fluky Federer match where Roger was well below his usual form, Isner hasn't played nearly that well (and that includes his two matches this week). rutinos harcos 02-24-2012, 08:08 AM I'd say Milos, but he needs to be more consistent. DOOOBAAAR. Raige 02-24-2012, 01:55 PM Fish and Roddick have the passion, and constantly evoke my RAGE counters with their idiotic on court antics. Which has made a fan of me Unfortunately they are old and declining Raonic of course, now all he needs is to develop a pair of balls to push his career on with Deathless Mortal 02-24-2012, 02:02 PM Darian King. 156mphserve 02-24-2012, 02:04 PM can someone ban that double account yet^^^^(not Deathless Mortal) and to answer the questipon it's santiago gonzalez LawrenceOfTennis 02-24-2012, 02:21 PM  at MTF's raonic fanboyism. I like the guy but he is only a serve bot. Groundstrokes are not even that good, only if he sets them up with a huge serve. No variety at all. MTF = idiots  Clay Death 02-24-2012, 02:25 PM agree with viruzz: it has to be milos right now. fish is overrated. he just lost to some clown ranked #388. i would rate dr isner over fish anyway. stanch 02-24-2012, 03:00 PM I'd say Isner. romismak 02-24-2012, 03:13 PM Hope Milos-John F in Memphis so we can see live who is currently best from NA MuzzahLovah 02-24-2012, 03:15 PM You sure about that? Outside of the fluky Federer match where Roger was well below his usual form, Isner hasn't played nearly that well (and that includes his two matches this week). Fluky, lol. No point in arguing until Raonic beats a half-way decent player, and no, Tipsy or Almagro do not count. cmoss 02-24-2012, 03:19 PM  at MTF's raonic fanboyism. I like the guy but he is only a serve bot. Groundstrokes are not even that good, only if he sets them up with a huge serve. No variety at all. MTF = idiots  Raonic isn't that good, still need to improve much more.He lost to a 31 year old Hewitt at AO.He can beat weaker players easily and had some successes in small tournaments, but it doesn't mean much. cmoss 02-24-2012, 03:33 PM Isner is already World No.11,at the Memphis QF http://live-tennis.eu/ .His rank is still rising at breakneck speed. djokovicgonzalez 02-24-2012, 04:08 PM RIGHT now, Raonic. The last year, Fish Pirata. 02-24-2012, 04:30 PM Pospisil is the best looking. Vasek :hearts: jcempire 02-24-2012, 05:01 PM Fish is the highest ranked for a reason. :D Pospisil is the best looking. 30 years old is getting older. He's way off his best level ..... different compare where he was in last year. Isner is way better than Fish in today Milos Raonic is very young and do have a chance to be Top 10 soon Ibracadabra 02-24-2012, 05:04 PM a tiebreak between isner and roanic decides it mooncreek 02-24-2012, 05:13 PM I hope Raonic and Isner meet in the final to really determine this. Right now, I slightly pick Isner due to beating the biggest name and having the higher ranking (yes I know technically it'd be Fish but that's not going to last if he plays the way he has so far in 2012). out_here_grindin 02-24-2012, 08:28 PM I hate to turn my back on my man King, but its Cesar Ramirez MaratandMilos 02-24-2012, 10:38 PM Fluky, lol. No point in arguing until Raonic beats a half-way decent player, and no, Tipsy or Almagro do not count. And Isner loses to Melzer. A 6-3 record on the year compared to 13-1 and 2 titles. Yeah, he's looking a lot better than Milos right now. | |
