The ranking points Kutrovsky will get from this week will be more than half of the ranking points he's got in the last 12 months :D

Damn, really shades of Santoro when you see those DH shots. Obviously, not nearly as much magic as the Frenchie but still a good tribute. Hope he gets further. Who's he playing next?

not even a fan but still very happy for him. I hope he can use this as a leaping point to jump forward and improve the rest of the year

he's got harrisson/ginepri next so he has an outside shot at a semi final

Since I've never seen or heard of this guy prior to now, is the "Santoro" nickname implying his style of play, size, physical appearance, or something else?

Has anyone ever reached the QF on an ATP tournament without beating anyone (excluding retirements) ranked higher than 393?

He's more like a futures player facing futures players on the main draw of an ATP tournament!

After watching the amazing rallies between Harrison and Rochus yesterday, this match looked like a freaking futures match and not even a good one!

Monfils had a Bye so he couln't give w/o to his opponent in the 1st round.

In the qualifying draw he had to beat Michael Yani, who is ranked #184 ;)

If Ginepri wins against Harrison, Kutrovsky will face another opponent outside the top 200 :D

This kinda reminds me of Rajeev Ram's dream tournament in Newport 2009, when he didn't face any player ranked higher than #120 on his way to the final. Kutrovsky's lucky draw will certainly end in the semi finals, where he will have to play against a top 40 player for sure... :p

Good for the former Texas Longhorn. This is a great run out of nowhere.
