What a contrast in those two sets...
Rotterdam R1: Troicki def. de Bakker 7:6(6) 6:0Marc23 02-14-2012, 04:23 PM What a contrast in those two sets... nadejda 02-14-2012, 04:25 PM yes, Victor :bigclap: misty1 02-14-2012, 04:26 PM thiemo you idiot:o had 4-1 and 5-4 serving in that tiebreak but blew it and completely went awol in that second set Mystique 02-14-2012, 04:31 PM De Bakker makes Troiki look like a mental giant :yeah: Some achievement that. TennisOnWood 02-14-2012, 04:39 PM Talent won :D Adri89 02-14-2012, 04:39 PM De Bakker choked it in the first set in an awful way. He was up 4-1 with two serves to come : huge serve and an easy BH to play down the line (his BH was very performant in this first set), Troicki wasn't even playing anymore but Thiemo played too fast and missed it. It should have been 5-1, then it was 4-2. Troicki gave him two SPs then after an easy miss with his FH. But at 6-4, Thiemo did an awful dropshot, although he didn't miss one during the whole set. I can't believe he lost this TB, he was the better player during it but chokes so hard. After that, the 6-0 was expected. Henry Chinaski 02-14-2012, 04:40 PM de bakker will surely have quit tennis by next year djokovicgonzalez 02-14-2012, 04:41 PM Only person in the world who makes Vik look mentally tough Marc23 02-14-2012, 04:45 PM De Bakker makes Troiki look like a mental giant :yeah: Looking at the result I thought the same ;) shadows 02-14-2012, 05:29 PM Remember when De Bakker looked like he might not end up being shit? I'd have to win two sets, I was never going to be able to do that.' This is SPARTA! :worship: Marc23 02-14-2012, 08:46 PM 'After losing the first set, I felt it wasn't to be today. I'd have to win two sets, I was never going to be able to do that.' de Bakker said this? RonaldGomez 02-14-2012, 09:03 PM Didn't see the match but looks like Troicki shape isn't the best atm...in Davis Cup he played without confidence. | |
