Does having money really help a guy to get girlfriends?

Im going on a limb and saying no.

Obviously if your a billionaire thats different.

Im just talking about say being an upper class person. Rich but not criminally so.

Sexier but not sexy enough.

It obviously depends on what kind of "girlfriend" you want. Being broke certainly doesn't help though.

Adding ajde to your vocabulary would be more effective than cash anyway.

I'm sure every girl enjoys walking and/or sitting on a bench on every date, regardless of the season :p Of course having money helps a lot.

I would even enjoy a "fancy" dinner out of the trash can of a restaurant as long as I can enjoy it with the man I love. :p

Nah, maybe you have a different definition of "rich" because for me it is someone with an above average income. Those with lower incomes or even those who live on welfare can afford the occasional Mickey D's from time to time. It doesn't have to be a dinner date at the Ritz Carlton followed by a night at the honeymoon suite to make a girl happy. Is looking more forward to the glamor and the expensive gifts than to spending time with you, then something is wrong.

In the worst case it can also be the girl paying for the date. I have done that often and I don't even see it as a burden as some others would. For me it is a sign of how showing the other that I'm not a diva who expects the guy to foot the bill all the time.

The answer is yes, but it is not neccessary.

Women are also attracted to men who have the potential to be successful. You do not need to have much money, just showing your potential is enough. It is part of your lifestyle.

So for instance, if you have a masters degree in physics, you have the potential to be as successful (or more successful) as a physicist who already earns $5000 a month.

This is because women judge attraction by your behavior. Remember, it is about emotions and not what you say.

Being broke certainly doesn't help though.

Even if you are broke you can have very hot girlfriends, but you need to have a very good "game" to compensate for that. The better your lifestyle, the easier it gets for you. Lifestyle includes your job, your looks, your health, your friends, your hobbys, etc.

very good post, one can tell you dedicated some time to research in this field, I did too. Or maybe we all do (men). Some men go so far as to say everything they do they do to attract women.

And if you really think about that, it seems that's not so far away from the truth.

I am into natural seduction since over a year and read and practiced a lot. I can guarantee you that not many men know these things or are completely oblivious to it.

Some men go so far as to say everything they do they do to attract women.

And if you really think about that, it seems that's not so far away from the truth.

That is true. It is called needy behavior and kills the attraction with women.

Bilbo

The answer is yes. Easily.

Judging from your last answers, I feel that you have become too obsessed with money lately.

What we want are women who we really enjoy, who are honest and who like to be with us. If you focus too much on money, it kills your true goals with women which is building a personal and emotional connection. If you think money is the most important thing to attract women you will exactly get these kind of women, gold diggers. It does not lead to healthy relationships with women. Money often gets overrated by most guys.

of course because if all the non-money factors (personality, looks, attitude) are there, plus money, then yes, it will help. it certainly won't hurt; no one's going to say "you're a terrific guy but i can't handle dating someone who isn't constantly in overdraft"

So unless you're a complete jerk that anyone can spot within the first 30 minutes of meeting you, it will certainly attract initial girlfriends, plenty of them, in short-term stints. Any relationship deeper than that, and you're pretty much back to a level playing field.

Money makes the world go round? Yes. The best things in life are free? Not true. Money will get you everything you want? Yes. You can even buy happiness in the form of drugs lots of drugs . In all seriousness money is not everything. It corrupts. A nice girl will like you whether you have money or not. When you have money you can never know whether someone likes you for you or your money. Most girls however go for money. In the end they end up as desperate housewives whilst their husbands cheat on them with younger women. Ain't that a kick in the head.

Good post, but having money sometimes makes your personality, even looks more attractive right from the start, I've seen and heard that, and not from gold diggers.

As for the deeper thing I agree. Money can't help in the long run, not just money.

Sluts want guys with money so they can buy whatever they want when they go shopping.

Decent women want guys with money so they can have a good life, can travel, and give to their child a good life too in the future.

They all act in the same away, but for different reasons, and that's all that matter.

take it from me, son

at your young age:

1- money helps little

2- looks help but it can only take you so far. every once in a while you might score some relatively hot chicks in a party but generally they won't help you that much to get in a relationship.

3- personality is the biggest factor. in that regard there are a tons of instructions, tips, rules etc. even though all girls are different, i've come to the conclusion that there are universal factors that pretty much all girls are attracted to: things like having self-confidence or having some humour. in the end, your personality can be kind of shallow but it can still get you a gf.

so all in all, at your age it is as following: personality > looks > money.

This. I'm 25, and never was the reason for failing/having success with girls...

But I admit that for marriage that can be one of the factors, but both for men and women. We don't live in the 19th or 20th century anymore, where the men were the only ones who bring the food to the table.

Absolutely, as this beauteous pic of Kim Dotcom, quite possibly Bilbo's life role model, clearly illustrates. One of those pics that say a thousand words imo. With lots of money to blow, you, too, could be surrounded by women who could not give less of a f-ck about you and huge transportation devices that you don't need, know nothing about and don't use.

But the OP is sexist because it also works the other way around, which he of course fails to mention or consider.

I recall after she slapped me he first time, I could just feel the sexual energy just explode in the air, I wanted to grab her and do it right then and there, and her eyes said much the same thing, she probably felt the same.
