on a related note, a canadian friend whos coming to town this month said on gmail chat that "we're gonna paint the town red".

i wasnt sure what he meant but i bought several cans of red paint anyhow

Ours are no better, we fined some guy a few grand cause he moaned that if Robin Hood Airport didn't open in a week he'd 'blow it sky high' on Twitter.

I worry sometimes about how people are being judged by authorities based on comments they make on social networking sites. A lot of the stuff that's come out seems to have little or no indication of serious intent to do wrong.
