Funny scoreline.
Haase in the next round is a beatable opponent and a good chance for the Slovak to reach the semifinal.

Is Lacko finally fulfilling his potential?
I can see him in the top 50 this year. This guy is really enjoyable to watch when on.:hearts:

Keep it up, Lukas!

Lacko is simply rolling now. Finally he is showing his potential. Jumped on Bogomolov early on and it was 6-0, 2-0, then Bogomolov started to fight and earned that 2nd set... But surprisingly, after disappointing tiebreak, Lukas came up big in the 3rd. He lost his serve only once against Bogomolov(which I consider a very solid returner).

What do you guys think, where is the limit of Lukas Lacko? Top 70, top 50 or maybe even close to top 30?

Haase next, it should be another win for Lukas.

Typical Lacko scoreline
But anyway his supporters have something to be happy with - first ATP QF since Atlanta 2010 :woohoo: I can see him finishing the year in top-50 if he can continue like this :yeah: he deserves it with the potential available

Great result. Bogomolov must be the worst player ever to enter the top 50.

Bogomolov has excellent groundstrokes, a good touch at net, a strong serve. He just needs to find his brain back. Who are you to say something like this? You can just judge him staying on your comfortable chair, but Alex is really making a great job, and he has talent.

Bogo + zagreb = "interesting betting patterns".

a strong serve, come on...broken 11 times by Llodra in AO.

He's a hard worker and fighter but nothing more.

Yay, Lukaaaas :D

Was afraid of an epic choke, but he got back in destruction mode in the 3 set. When he's on he's spectacular, bageling Nadal in Doha speaks for itself.

He has no limits in my room.
What the rankings are concerned, top 50 shouldn't be a problem. But of course, with his game and mentality he will probably have big ups and downs. Consistency is a problem not to mention his claycourt results which have been embarassing (won only 2 clay matches on challengers, won four games against Dancevic in 1st round of qualies at RG).

Hopefully he will play only few clay tournaments, where is clay faster, Madrid or Munich for example, and Roland Garros obviously.
