Which is your favourite Match Up

Djokovic-Nadal

Federer-Nadal

Federer-Djokovic

Djokovic-Murray

Murray-Nadal

Murray-Federer

Djokovic-Nadal is pure Brutal. Its almost like daggers in hand.

I,for one, really like Djokovic-Murray one. Its highly entertaining brand of tennis. Both are good shot makers and play tactically too.

Federer-Nadal is becoming quite stale to be honest. No matter how Federer starts its predictable who is gonna win it.

Djokovic vs Murray seems to be getting better. It's more intriguing than the other match-ups, less predictable patterns of play and it's a nice mix of shotmaking and defensive abilities.

Federer-Djokovic. For obvious reasons. Fed's storied ego gets him really going against this version of Novak and their recent matches have been of top-notch quality.

Personally, I would also like to see how Murray under Lendl with his new found fighting ability will fare in the slams against Federer who has offlate made a habit of choking in BO5.

I also enjoy the RESULT OF Nadal-Djokovic matches :D
But Nadal-Murray is the worst matchup among top 4. Ok, alongside Fedal

Federer-Djokovic by far, i think it is not even close, Federer must be the one from this 4 simply because his game is most verstatile-variable and is playing most agressive tennis-most enjoyable to watch for most people, and the other one to compete with Roger out of Rafa-Nole-Andy is clearly Novak, Why not Rafa? obvious reasons -Rafa is horrible match-up and is not fun to watch for many people, because you always knew Rafa is going to win, Andy is too passive-defensive and Nole is the one who is playing far more agressive against Roger than in other matches-he stated that many times he must play agressive with Roger, so those matches Roger-Nole are by far best match-up and fun to watch among this 4 great players

I've liked Fed-Murray matches, especially in 2008-2009 ... and whereas Murray won a little bit more than Fed (Fed being my favourite).

I don't know : I have the impression Murray expresses his game well against Fed, and Fed as well, goes more to the net, some variety as well with an alternance of slices and attacks ...

I usually prefer Djokovic to Murray, but I think I rate a little bit less his oppositions with Fed : less variety, it's mostly in rhythm with a significative number of unforced errors.

It's also the opposition where the result is less predictable in advance, I think (some will say it's different in slams I don't know they only played twice against each other in a slam)

A lot of people here prefer "talent" to "heart" (particularly in the new generation), so it is no surprise what is leading at the moment.

In order:
1) Djoker-Nadal. Even though it is 7 straight for Novak, it is always a war between these two. Djokovic's shots are so much more penetrating, but Nadal's level of fight is as high as I've ever seen.
2) Djoker-Murray. I wouldn't be surprised if this soon becomes #1. Murray is getting better and better, while Djokovic seems to have no weaknesses at the moment. Let Murray be born either a decade earlier or a decade later, and he'd already be a multiple GS winner by now.

FedvsNole

1. Fed vs nole is the obvious choice. Contrast of styles, more winners, and their matches go down to the wire not knowing who is going to win. The best two matches of last year was Rg 2011 and uso 2011. Last 3 matches at a slam could have gone either way. Why anyone would pick another match up is beyond stupidity.

2. Nole-Murray: whats so great about this matchup. Yes, it went 5 sets this time in australia but murray HAS NEVER beaten djokvic in a slam. Its again mind numbing baseline tennis but at least better than nadal-nole. Murray's last win over djokvic since nole retiring in Cinci match was in 2009.

3. Rafa-nole: The only reason I see people picking this is because they enjoy nadal getting his ass kicked. 7 in a row in finals? Come on how can this be interesting if the outcome is the same these days. This isn't 2009 and even then it was one sided to rafa with a 4-12 Head to head. Since this its been novak winning 10 out of 12 matches. I dont get the excitement when the result is known. The long time taken between points is just annoying as hell. Rafa couldn't beat nole on this slow ass aussie court at night playing an exhausted nole. No way in hell he can beat nole at french open with the faster balls and a fresh nole... Nadal didn't even win a set in their 2 clay matches in 2011.

They've only played twice in a slam! And the last time was pretty close wasn't it?

Murray's last non-retirement victory was in 2009, but they only played three other matches since then (with one being on clay).

You cite the Federer-Djokovic match-up, but Djokovic has won 3 of their last 4 matches in slams.

Djokovic-Federer guarantees the highest quality of tennis and the final outcome is always a mistery, however nowadays it's about 55/45 in Nole's favour.
Furthermore I really enjoy the clash of styles, this sort of matchup always delivers lots of excellent volleys, passing shots and sublime winners from the baseline.
Fortunately, there's no mental issue in this particular match-up so certainly we won't observe any ugly chokes throughout the battle- yes, those USO 2010 and 2011 loses weren't chokes, just a huge load of luck combined with mental strength.

In order...

Djokovic-Nadal These two have played their best matches against each other, it's simply a great match up that produces outstanding tennis. There is simply no other rivalry right now that matches up the intensity, shotmaking and drama of their matches.

Federer-Djokovic My second favorite. Usually these two bring the best quality of tennis in their rivalry. It might not be as spectacular as Rafole matches, but overall produces best attacking tennis.

Djokovic-Murray This is starting to become a great rivalry. I remember as highlights the Rome semifinal, AO semifinal and today's final, great epic matches. They are also the present and future of tennis.

Nadal-Federer Though their rivalry is in decline and it's been a long time since they played an epic match, it's still the original rivalry and I always enjoy it. For a change it's good to be neutral.

Murray-Federer Never sure how it's going to end, I love the unpredictability. But they don't seem to produce epic matches, theirs are usually one-sided.

Nadal-Murray Too one-sided this one for my liking. And Murray's rafangirlism is shameful.

I agree. Defensive tennis at its best can be as stimulating or more than pure attacking tennis. But Fedfans will always use that excuse to make us believe that defensive tennis is less appealing. When it's done right like Rafole, it can be mesmerizing. I actually prefer watching rafole's style of game to federer's but that just personal choice. Not saying one is better than the other, i find them both fascinating. But my point is defensive tennis like Nole and Rafa and also Murray can play is as interesting to watch as the best attacking tennis.

Glad to see so many people voted for Nole-Roger, i think common think here is that this match-up plays more agressive tennis - generally Roger is most agressive player here, but you know the outcome vs Rafa unless it is indoors, vs Andy it is even H2H, but those matches were always at HC until Wimbledon, and than you have Roger vs Nole - on all surfaces right now, outdoor slow HC, outdoor fast HC, indoors, clay and even grass at Wimbledon this year and definitely most offensive match-up among big 4 you can get. So i think really Roger-Nole is by far most enjoyable match-up and i believe

I like the Djokovic-Nadal match up, because I wouldn't have thought that someone manages to beat Nadal at his grinding game. Particularly the matches in IW, Miami, Madrid and Rome were a joy to watch.

Apart from that the Fedal matchup is just the most exciting one, because they are the two best players of the last decade and because they represent the best offensive and the best defensive player in the world.
