The serve made all the difference for large parts of the match. I was slightly worried after Richard's medical time-out after the third set, but strangely enough he played his best set thereafter. Seppi had nothing to offer anymore. Quite windy throughout.

Lazy ass second set, but really stepped it up after that. This could have been tricky, Seppi was in decent form recently, and wind messing with them too.

Good match from Gasquet. Last set was a treat to watch. When his backhand is firing its a thing of beauty.

Watched the first 3 sets. Conditions were obviously tough. Seppi was dictating the majority of the rallies for the first 2 sets, but he was overhitting too much, and made some poor errors. Gasquet, as usual, behind the baseline, and Seppi unwilling to ever come forward in long rallies when he had him out of position. This continued in the 2nd when Seppi stopped missing, and Gasquet upped the error count. Ritchie was playing a very lazy match. As soon as the 3rd started, he upped his intensity considerably, and stayed closer to the baseline, looked to attack, and finish a few points at the net.

Fuck it. Anyway, Gasquet will lose next round.

Not a great match to watch and Gasquet took it to the limit - 5 sets would have been unacceptable. Seppi's serve .
