What a Rafatard this OP is. 16 years really? RAFAWONCYGS has really been stewing his tardism a lot this whole time.

9-11 I would say. the reason is because he is such a huge ROland Garros favorite. he could literally in a few years just focus all of his attention to that one tournament with his scheduling and planning and be virtually guranteed a few more wins.

also he is great on grass and slow hard. i definitely seem snagging one the next two years and great chance at another year beyond that. but let's be honest anything past 3 years more in a row is unrealistic

the statistic looks great but the reason Nadal has such a great chance to get the record for most successive years of Grand Slam victories is because he won his first few Roland Garros's so young.

it definitely is possible for him to win one a year until 29 years old depending on physique

I would say 17, but not on his current streak. His current streak will end with 16 years of winning slams in 2020. He will briefly retire for the next 7 years and upon returning in 2028, he will win slams for the next 17 consecutive years, winning his last slam in 2044. We can safely say he will amass at least 88 slams in his career.

Who knows? Maybe he'll be the youngest grandpa to win a Grand Slam

Nice try. As if our Dear Leader Tio Toni would allow Rafa and Xisca to be in the same room unsupervised.

Tomic sucks on clay. Prime Raonic probably beatable on clay. Nadal can rule the next generation.

Nadal is the only man in WORLD HISTORY to win slams on clay, grass, hardcourt in a calendar year. Biggest slam feat of all-time or at least biggest slam feat apart from Laver's calendar year grand slam (which featured 3 grass slams and a clay slam).

Why does this question end with a preposition? You don't need the word "at".

maybe because English is not his native language

Bullzilla is definitely not joking..he has been repeating this mantra at TW constantly.

With regards to the streak, its very much on the bubble this year. It's fair to say that Rafa is on the edge. We will see what changes he makes solve the Djokovic riddle or he might have someone pulling a Federer for him.

there are so many parallels between borg and nadal so i'll go with eight.

i'd like to see him tank iw and miami and focus on clay immortality: 7 rg's :worship:

Actually, according to Microsoft Word grammar check, my sentence was grammatically correct. Hence no need to look for an alternative.

Hate to tell you, but Saberg is absolutely right. The question should have read simply: "How many years will Nadal's streak continue?"

I'm sure other native English speakers like myself will continue to point this out, and given your history, you will continue to wriggle around the issue in a vain attempt to obfuscate it :)

Where did I say "Saberg you are wrong"? I said that Microsoft Word grammar check confirmed that my sentence is grammatically correct, hence no need to look for an alternative.

I don't know why I'm wasting my time replying to you. You surely won't be able to read this. No age limit on forums, so I'll try to be tolerant of your inability to read. Nah, I'll just put you on the ignore list.

A lot of things slip by grammar checkers - that's a fact. Another fact, using the preposition at is incorrect, and having a hanging preposition is also grammatically incorrect. I believe it was Churchill who pointed out "This is English up with which I will not put"
