Yes I'm crazy about Andreas, but I didn't open this thread just because of this.
This looks like a very interesting first round match...Gaquet seems to have a slight mental edge on Seppi and leads their H2H by 3-1, winning some tough matches lately.

2011 Sydney R16 - Gasquet, Richard 3-6, 7-5, 6-4
2010 Belgrade R16 - Gasquet, Richard 4-6, 6-2, 7-5
2008 Masters Series Hamburg R32 - Seppi, Andreas 6-3, 6-2
2005 Masters Series Hamburg Q - Gasquet, Richard 6-1, 6-2

Seppi has shown good form in Doha, taking slightly injured Backerer to 3 sets. I don't know about Gasquet...
I say Gasquet in 4 or 5 epic sets, three of them will be tough and hard. :rocker2:

Gasquet looked crappy at he Hopman Cup . Can easily see him losing but he could win easily as well.

I didn't want to pick the joke option, so I went for "tennis wins"

It's a mystery how Gasquet ever lost a set to Seppi.

With the choking abilities these two posses, this could be a long dramatic match, something like Nando-Tomic today.

More opinions, please.

As intimidating as the man in your avatar looks, Gasquet's finesse should be enough to take this in 4.

Would be a close one in a beauty pageant though.

Gasquet in 3 or 4.

Obviously Gasquet is the favorite, but with Gasquet that means nothing. He could win in straights or lose a 5 set epic depending on his mood.

Ditto.

Gasquet should and would win in no more than four sets, otherwise my happiness after Fognini and Starace's defeats would significantly diminish.
