This is probably one of the best line up draws in Kazan on the last years. There are some interesting first round matches to watch like Jaziri vs Kravchuk, Bemelmans vs Ward and Ignatik vs Haider-Maurer.

Bemelmans looked knackered in Heilbronn today...doubt he'll be any good this week. Ward has arrived with no rackets or clothing!

i'd love jaziri-kudryavtsev final :worship: malek had some problems today in the 1st set but played well when he had to, also i think he had blisters yesterday during doubles match; his luck kravchuk is in bad shape and also a good match-up for malek

Bemelmans was up 6/3 5/3, maybe had mp in 2nd set. Menendez is a damn fighter.

Funny thing is that last week Menendez was playing against another leftie indoors (Ryderstedt), who was also leadng 6/3 5/3 and had several mp, and the spaniard won 3/6 7/5 7/6(5) :)

Ledovskikh also qualified after a comeback vs Hajek 4/6 7/6(6) 6/4

On the other hand I`m glad to see Zopp in the final and I hope that he can win the title tomorrow as I reckon he is a top 100 material.

Last year, after Kazan, Marius faced some injuries, but this year I think he can reach top 150 at least.

Zopp has had a very fortunate draw, hopefully he can play well in the final and bring home his first Challenger title.

Indeed, but one of the line umpires shouted "out".

Also, in the first tiebreak at 2-0 for Marius, Zopp sent a ball out, but the umpires hadn't any reaction. Marius got nervous at that moment and he lost the first set.

Good win, his first challenger title. 100 points also are nice, he has lot to defent in Bergamo, it takes some pressure off .
