The way Troicki lost first set... Can't describe it, he seemed to be attacking the net like some football player.

I honestly don't know why he even bothers anymore.

Not just a pretty face.

You have to wonder what Hewitt has been getting out of the last couple of years on tour. He can't complete a week of tennis without sustaining a new injury or reaggravating an old one. He says he still enjoys the hard work, but I can't see that being the case for too much longer.

Well done Viktor. :yeah:

The way things are going for Hewitt the last few years it will probably be the same.Get a top player in R1 at the AO,lose the match,then another surgery another long break,back to Davis Cup and the year is over.

Tomic can keep Australia out of Davis Cup Zonals Group II now so Hewitt shouldn't feel obliged to keep playing :wavey:

Hewitt =Legend

Hewitt actually played alright from midway through the first to midway through the second.

Just can't match it with the contemporary player these days and when the body is playing up, that makes the task near impossible.

Viktor :yeah:

Wasn't Troicki up 4-1 in the first set? :spit:

Matt Ebden is Australia's 2nd best player; Stuff the whole reputation thing. It says so on the rank and he is still young and I think he'd match him if they played against each other.

I just hope Hewitt has played his last Davis Cup although i wouldn't mind a doubles pairing of Paul Hanley & LLeyton but Ebden & Tomic for sure

Hewitt should retire. He's honestly an embarrassment.

01-10-2012, 11:29 PM
shouldn't it be the other way around?

hewitt outmugs troicki?
