I say Andy has upped his game and should take this title in 2 sets .Dolgopolov doesnt have the power to blast him off the court

I like Dolgopolov's game, but he is losing in two.

Dolgo looks slightly injured, and Murray is in Tokyo form. Probably a repeat of today's scoreline.

As much as I dislike Dolgopolov, he has a great shot here. He played well against Simon, which is the perfect player to play before you face Murray as they have similar styles. However, Murray as well has been in great form. I think it'll be a typical match where Dolgopolov plays amazing for one set and Murray just takes his time to wait for the storm to end and let the unforced errors and brain farts from Dolgopolov rack up.

I like Dolgo, but he has no chance, after Andy´s last 2 matches in Brisbane it must be shocking if he even win 1 set. 2 Things will be in Murray´s favour.

1.Dolgo´s FS% can go down easily, with Murray´s world class returning he will be under pressure to go for free points and aces on 1st serve, what will mean he will miss a lot of 1st serves and he generally has very low %FS in.
2. His inconsistency in few games will most likely cost him match, because Andy is just consistent, can play baseline rallies with him all day and also slice doesn´t bother him at all.

if it's anything like last year's ao encounter, we should be in for a treat :smoke:

Rooting for the Dog. He needs to serve better than normally, have some patience in the rallies and keep the errors down. He got a decent shot if he can find his highest level

Dog definitely has the game to bother Murray on hc, question is whether he can stay consistent and put a lot of risk throughout the match.

I incline towards Murray in 3.

i think bearing in mind it's a final of a tournament and these are always held in special atmoshperes, just like the fact Andy took out without clowning some recent opponents, I truly believe he'll clinch this one, probably in 2. (Dolgo can totally start it from 0-4...)

Love Alex...not a fan of Murray although he has his moments but his consistency against the big 3 in slams makes me dislike him on principle alone....then his bad attitude on court just doesnt help him..

So gonna say Murray in 2 but hope for Dolgo in 3.

To be fair, I don't think Djokovic would've played Belgrade (which is probably one of the lesser of the 250 tournaments) if he weren't Serbian. I wouldn't really say you could generalise about his whole season because of the relatively weak draw of one tournament that he only played because it was in his home country.

Djokovic was awesome last year, you'd have to be delusional to think otherwise!

djokovic playing belgrade is like wozniacki playing copenhagen. They both know ther tournament is meaningless but patriotism will draw them to play there until they retire
