WWW Brisbane Final Murray vs DolgopolovChirag 01-07-2012, 05:59 AM who will win Chirag 01-07-2012, 06:01 AM I say Andy has upped his game and should take this title in 2 sets .Dolgopolov doesnt have the power to blast him off the court guga2120 01-07-2012, 06:05 AM I like Dolgopolov's game, but he is losing in two. MuzzahLovah 01-07-2012, 06:07 AM Dolgo looks slightly injured, and Murray is in Tokyo form. Probably a repeat of today's scoreline. HKz 01-07-2012, 07:32 AM As much as I dislike Dolgopolov, he has a great shot here. He played well against Simon, which is the perfect player to play before you face Murray as they have similar styles. However, Murray as well has been in great form. I think it'll be a typical match where Dolgopolov plays amazing for one set and Murray just takes his time to wait for the storm to end and let the unforced errors and brain farts from Dolgopolov rack up. romismak 01-07-2012, 07:38 AM I like Dolgo, but he has no chance, after Andy´s last 2 matches in Brisbane it must be shocking if he even win 1 set. 2 Things will be in Murray´s favour. 1.Dolgo´s FS% can go down easily, with Murray´s world class returning he will be under pressure to go for free points and aces on 1st serve, what will mean he will miss a lot of 1st serves and he generally has very low %FS in. 2. His inconsistency in few games will most likely cost him match, because Andy is just consistent, can play baseline rallies with him all day and also slice doesn´t bother him at all. allpro 01-07-2012, 07:39 AM if it's anything like last year's ao encounter, we should be in for a treat :smoke: 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 murray. MaxPower 01-07-2012, 07:53 AM Rooting for the Dog. He needs to serve better than normally, have some patience in the rallies and keep the errors down. He got a decent shot if he can find his highest level EddieNero 01-07-2012, 08:14 AM Dog definitely has the game to bother Murray on hc, question is whether he can stay consistent and put a lot of risk throughout the match. I incline towards Murray in 3. Tennis-Life 01-07-2012, 09:59 AM Dog in three :dog: Nathaliia 01-07-2012, 10:16 AM i think bearing in mind it's a final of a tournament and these are always held in special atmoshperes, just like the fact Andy took out without clowning some recent opponents, I truly believe he'll clinch this one, probably in 2. (Dolgo can totally start it from 0-4...) Saberq 01-07-2012, 11:40 AM Murray is in Tokyo form :haha:....makes sense......another challenger level type draw for Andy samanosuke 01-07-2012, 11:41 AM Too much of everything from the AO 2012 winner EddceLLent 01-07-2012, 02:07 PM Andy in 2. Would maybe drop a set under normal circumstances but now he'll be afraid of getting bitchslapped by Ivan. ZaZoo) 01-07-2012, 02:11 PM In Andy we trust. BroTree123 01-07-2012, 02:24 PM Unfortunately, Murray in 3. 6-3, 6-7, 6-3. thehotstuff66 01-07-2012, 02:56 PM I want Alex to win but me thinks Murray will win. Love Alex...not a fan of Murray although he has his moments but his consistency against the big 3 in slams makes me dislike him on principle alone....then his bad attitude on court just doesnt help him.. So gonna say Murray in 2 but hope for Dolgo in 3. Cat Mateya 01-07-2012, 03:13 PM Muzza in 2, maybe 3 if Umag champion plays out of his mind. :) Too much of everything from the AO 2012 winner From your keyboard to tennis god's ears. :worship: Sapeod 01-07-2012, 05:45 PM another challenger level type draw for Andy Reminds me of Djokovic's opponents last year. Remember Belgrade? That's a challenger level draw. Hell, at least Tomic was good yesterday. Murray wins this in 2. Naudio Spanlatine 01-07-2012, 06:05 PM IM GOING FOR THE DOG:dog: EddceLLent 01-07-2012, 07:45 PM Reminds me of Djokovic's opponents last year. Remember Belgrade? That's a challenger level draw. To be fair, I don't think Djokovic would've played Belgrade (which is probably one of the lesser of the 250 tournaments) if he weren't Serbian. I wouldn't really say you could generalise about his whole season because of the relatively weak draw of one tournament that he only played because it was in his home country. Djokovic was awesome last year, you'd have to be delusional to think otherwise! misty1 01-07-2012, 07:48 PM djokovic playing belgrade is like wozniacki playing copenhagen. They both know ther tournament is meaningless but patriotism will draw them to play there until they retire on topic andy in 2 MuzzahLovah 01-07-2012, 08:07 PM I wonder why Dolgo doesn't seem to have nearly as many believers as Tomic did, even though Dolgo beat Simon in straight sets and Tomic has done nothing of note recently. Saberq 01-07-2012, 08:15 PM Reminds me of Djokovic's opponents last year. Remember Belgrade? That's a challenger level draw. Hell, at least Tomic was good yesterday. Murray wins this in 2. Remember his AO draw ...Berdych,Federer,Murray .....all in 3 sets .....sent packing .....now that's a draw...I mean he played a mug in the final but hey Saberq 01-07-2012, 08:16 PM I wonder why Dolgo doesn't seem to have nearly as many believers as Tomic did, even though Dolgo beat Simon in straight sets and Tomic has done nothing of note recently. maybe because Dolgo is 24 and Tomic 19 v-money 01-07-2012, 08:18 PM maybe because Dolgo is 24 and Tomic 19  Pretty sure he means for this match...not for the future. Saberq 01-07-2012, 08:19 PM I see ...still a valid answer LuCC 01-07-2012, 08:30 PM I like Dog's game, but I cheer for Andy. I don't know why, but I like this guy and feel sorry for him still not winning any major. 2 close sets? v-money 01-07-2012, 08:32 PM I see ...still a valid answer Invalid answer actually. Why would a more experienced player have a lesser chance than some teenager? Stop trying to cover up for your lack of reading comprehension. Nonetheless, I think Murray will win this one, but I hope Dolgo proves me wrong. Saberq 01-07-2012, 08:34 PM Invalid answer actually.
