Just watching Chicken Man and Nieminen playing at the moment.

They won't call him up for Davis Cup though.

silverwhite
02-16-2007, 04:21 PM
Yes. Monfils is pissed with Forget and I think Benneteau is too, although he has been more diplomatic in his words to the press. Forget will choose the same 4 players against Russia.

Action Jackson
02-16-2007, 04:44 PM
Happy for Jarkko, he should beat the piece of crap Simon. Napoleon likes to pick the same players.

silverwhite
02-16-2007, 04:46 PM
He will be facing Baggy/Youzhny, not Simon :p

Yeah. Benneteau and Monfils are both inconsistent and the tie against Romaina was a chance for him to try them out and see how they react to playing for their country. He was too conservative with his picks.

Action Jackson
02-16-2007, 04:50 PM
Simon is such a little shit, he will get thrashed in the semis.

Well some places play better for their country than themselves, but you don't know unless tried.

silverwhite
02-16-2007, 04:53 PM
He's had a lot of luck in this tournament :o

Exactly. The tie against Romania was a rare opportunity and Forget let it pass.

So apparently Pennsylvania is like... closed.

Apparently I-78, I-80 and I-81 are all closed. This is the way to Syracuse. So my mom and I are going to take the NY Thruway path instead but we've never gone that way so it's a little nerve-wracking... I *think* we can just take 287 to I-87 to I-90 which takes us right to I-81 in Syracuse but I'm nervous about it. :scared: It's my only option really. Ashley was trying to get into PA to check out a few colleges today and they have all those roads closed because they're all heavily iced over. People are apparently stuck on 78 and helicopters are dropping them food. :tape:

So yeah, we need a new path. :scared:

Hopefully I make it time to see those damn Huskies go down. :armed:

Why you want to go to Syracuse at this kind of weather?

IT IS THE SYRACUSE-UCONN GAME. Such an event is more important than anything!!!

And the storm was 2 days ago. Pennsylvania just sucks at snow removal on their roads. At least along 80 and 380. They just don't know how to do it. Every time I drove home from SU last year that was the worst part. The roads in Central NY will be fine. They're more than used to a little white stuff. It's supposed to snow like.. an inch. It's just PA that doesn't know how to clear roads.

Lee
02-17-2007, 04:06 AM
OK, a very important sporting event. :p

I read somewhere that the transportation department is highly criticized of the clearing of freeway and I tend to agree. PA is not the only state that's affect by the snowstorm but the only one that's end up in disaster.

Wait what about Tanith's skating partner? He is a cutie.
The match is so boring;sorry Muzza and Ivo fans.

I agree that Ben Agosto is a cutie as well. During the Olympics some fans were fanwanking that he appeared to be in luuurrrve with Tanith. But he is dating former skater Merrie Parr - so alas, it is no Gordeeva/Grinkov. (Or Gordeeva/Kulik).

Come on Andy.

Nooo it ended at 6 :awww:

It was actually old, I'm not sure why they televised it now. It was all the medalists from Nationals doing their exhibition skate with the spotlight and all, and nationals were during the AO. But it was still nice :)

Speaking of cute skaters...I've finally realized who Ryan Bradley reminds me of though. He is definitely a Jake Gyllenhaal lookalike.

What an absolutely brilliant game to break from 30-0.

Broken twice in 1 set after being broken once all tournament :smoke:

I got to the QF playing with a sprained ankle and then had to retire because it was just too much. :awww:
