Has the weather improved, Isa?

 It's 29 now. We haven't seen a temperature above freezing in more than 2 weeks. Tomorrow's high is supposed to be 38, it's going to rain and it might switch over to sleet or freezing rain after dark or at the very least snow. 4 to 6 inches is the conservative estimate, even though yesterday I heard we could get up to 12 inches.

One of the commentators said it last night on TTC during the doubles match. In the thread on GM I believe Deb or someone else posted the name of the venue. It's going to be indoors.

At least the snow toned down a bit but it's worse with sleet or freezing rain.

I guess you'll reach 300 messages soon enough :p

I NEED Gonzo to win for my TT since Ljubo couldn't do it. I thought he'd be more motivated for his last DC match.

The Ljubo loss was never in doubt :p

You were on Ljubicic? he was motivated, he's just shit

I agree :rolls:

Most thought the Yanks would win, especially with Thunder Lips and Hajek out. Dickhead got the job done and that's what counts.

As for Berdman, it's obvious enough why some people don't like him as for being overrented not really. They aren't going around calling him a multi Slam winner, if he gets 1 I will be happy.

As I said, I don't have a problem with the mock, put it on the line, got to take it.

When Duckboy has to make hotel reservations for the second week of Roland Garros, then that is success.

:rocker2:
But well, i have to admit it was a pretty good win, so congrats Roddick :yeah:

Most thought the Yanks would win?

Yep, unless someone thought that Minar, Dlouhy or Dlouhy/Vizner were going to win a match. It was just wishful thinking :p

well.. you shouldnt be bothered with roddick winning..that tie was for the USA anyway

Sweden..in sweden.... hmm

I remember Acasuso beating Bjorkman in buenos aires, and t.johansson..

i hope pimpim is not in the house then..

cosa if they show up this team..i see no trouble.. with or without nalbandian

If Nalbandian doesn't play, we are in a big trouble :o

I used to like A-Rod.. untill i realized he was a prick..

i mean..he had such a showman attitude..

How many seconds it took you to realise that? 5? :p

but im half blood Boca Juniors

I spent the weekend in Cambridge and just arrived home a few hours ago. We went down to London on Friday night to watch Blood Brothers in the Pheonix in Trafalgar Square. It was okay but lacked a bit I felt. 6/10 from me :p

Watched all the Saturday rugby and went out Sat night in Cambridge but I wasn't really up to speed and didn't drink a thing as I have a bit of a cold and don't want to risk getting really ill before my long haul flights on Wednesday.

The cheapest train leaves Swansea at 4am and gets into Gatwick at 8:50am. Thats £67.

The coach is about £45.

The train that gets in nearest to the recommended 11am costs £100 though

Ohhhhhh dear what happened?

theyu re REAL cheap

I m not THAT of a frequent flyer.. i travel at least once a year.. round trip.. but i know im never flying again to the states with delta

the seats were the most uncomfortable ever.. they charged you for everything.. I had emergency exit which happens to be the widests.. and they were still narrow..

They tried to make me pay for excess luggage .. when i flew back.. because "they changed their policy".. i mean.. i had no travel in my departure flight.. it was on the return.. they actually charged me 100 dlrs..

and the service.. well.. they wouldnt even give me like you know.. the compensation thing you get if your flight stucks you around some place..

they re supposed to give you like 10-20 dlrs to go and have sth to eat or so.. if it is longer than some amount of time

they wouldnt! my mum is a flying agent and she had to make a couple of calls to at least make me have a voucher (i m not a cheap guy.. i mean.. its not about the voucher or not.. its a matter of respect and service.. they cant do anything about it.. but neither can i.. and i lost my connection bus to the place i was heading because they wouldnt take off -it came delayed like 2 hrs because of take off delay..- and when it got there..15 min after that started to snow..

btw.. i didnt mention it kind of changed from side to side the getaway gate in atlanta.. it said like gate 15..and turned out to be 51 when i got at 15..they were rescheduling..

i had an awfull flight

there is no airplain company like british airways.. by far.. my best flights.. :)

That reminds me of when i travelled to Guatemala

I went to see some ruins in a place called Tikal, but the only airline going there was "Tikal Airlines", obviously it doesn't inspire you much trust

The plane had a malfuntion in the air conditioning, so it was terribly hot inside. My seat was cranky and made noises everytime i moved. The window besides me looked like it was about to break in any second and of course the food and the service was terrible :scared:

The flight didn't last long, but the worst came when we landed. It seems that one wheel blew off when it touched the ground and the plane wasn't able to land properly. It took a lot of time for it to finally slow down, we were almost at the end of the runaway and no more than 10 meters from where the plane stoped there were some houses, i can't imagine what would have happened if the plane didn't stop in time :scared:

Then we had to evacuate the plane because a fire began thanks to all that happened to the wheel :o.

I swear i'm never going to travel in a plane like that anymore :rolls:

Well, i didn't have a choice to book something more expensive because there weren't any airlines that went straight to Tikal (at least not when i went there  ).

lmfao! Are you sure that's not Final Destination? ;) or more like Airplane :p

My only problem was when I was flying from Stansted to Baden Baden - there was thick fog over Baden Baden so we circled it for an hour before the pilot said we are now very short on fuel and will go and see if Saarbrucken is fog free! Business class is great and i can fly with it in Alitalia because i can buy 2 seats for the price of one and in the end it's just a little more expensive than Economy class, but in the end it's worth it. especially for flights of more than 14 straight hours.

On a jailbait-ish note.... Novak's little brother is growing out of his awkward phase and getting to look much more like Novak. Verrry cute for a young guy :)
