I was just going mad when I saw one news on the web. Siemens currently has a corruption scandal, also the company who bought their mobile-phone business just one year ago said, they would cancel the mobile business. Then Siemens got critics like they knew Ben-Q would put the mobile-business away when they made the contract.....etc

And now I read the bosses of Siemens get (all together) 2.5 millions Euros more salary  For what? For doing shit?

Nathaliia
12-16-2006, 09:15 AM
Usually so big salaries are paid to bosses of banks and big companies because they are not tempted by other forces by equally big bribes of doing things to harm their own bank/company.

And in Wrocław there was a bomb near my dorm  On Thursday actually. And it wasn't fake :scared:

I finished the Totti-translation already on Wednesday evening when I also started it. I just had to put it from the paper into the pc. 50 pages - I still didn't have such jobs to do in my practices :) But it sounds like a lot. Have fun, maybe you should switch off the tv.

Who is who in the thread

This thread has been thought as "Eastern European Girls Appreciation Thread" but after correct suggestions of its.like.that is was changed into "Olga, Nicole, Sandee and Nathii are seeking attention". From that time on it has been known as "Attention Thread" even if can get different titles at times.

Who is who - alphabetical order, posters with over 100 posts in this thread:
AgassiDomination (Ali) - Young, sensual desi-guy from Texas. Enjoys hot blonde girls, gets into new and new relationships, is talented in writing (use "search" tool in Non-Tennis). Fan of Gatorade.
Alekutza (Alexandra) - One of these crazy Romanian girls, supporting Jose Acasuso and is into football (and football players).
betterthanhenman (Kristian) - Another desi-guy, this time from England. #2 Xristos hater (after Fee). A psychiatrist (that would speak for much). Supports Tati Rascon, Tati Golovin and French chicks in general (not exactly in tennis)
Betty (Betty) - Italian mother to be, fan of Gaston Gaudio, U2 and Inter Milan. Loves tennis, but also writes on this board to practise her English. Works as economist in Social Secure.
Carito_90 (Carolina) - The young Argie girl, who's about to study International Relations, she's not right-winged, she's definitely Gu-winged and Olga-winged. Liking Roddick might be her only disadvantage. (wouldn't mind such a threesome)
ClaycourtaZzZz. (Lorenzo) - The famous Loro is currently banned for being rude to posters, but maybe some of his accounts are still active. Swiss young boy with Sri Lankan origins plays tennis at national competitive junior level and is good at sports betting.
Corinna (Corinna) - A German girl who has no haters (she doesn't deserve any!). Currently busy with her highschool. Fan of Juan Carlos Ferrero. Used to have an interesting blog. Enjoys shopping.
Dan's Racket (Dan) - Not an active poster, Milan (SloKid's) #1hater. Used to hit at every possible girl and write some poems. Taken from WTAhell. Aged around 30, if I got it right.
GeorgeWHitler (GWH :tape: ) - Legend of MTF, might be more famous for activity in other threads than this one, but yes, he has over 200 posts in here as well.
GlennMirnyi (Gu) - Brazilian Caro-obsessed dude with long hair (in the past) and a swimmer's chest to remember. Good student of Materials Engineering. Likes Falco and Deep Purple, doesn't like Nadal.
guille&tati4life (Paul) - Scottish student of something related to international affairs / politics. His brother (Chris84) is an active poster on WTAhell. As for Paul, he's the most famous for defending every girl and supporting Celtic Glasgow (doesn't like the team of Ivory Coast).
gulzhan (Gulzhan) - A lawyer from Kazakhstan, of uncertain age. Completed education in USA and Russia. Fan of Safin and Gasquet; a TT addict. On each occassion knows an appropriate Russian motto.
its.like.that (Jim) - Australian virgin of uncertain job and age. Most likely is a journalist. Best at tennis betting. Appreciated for intelligence and unique sense of humour. Also can buy diamonds to girls.
JBdV (Jean-Baptiste) - not an active poster here anymore, but a Gasquet and Monfils (one of few on this board) supporter, a French guy living in UK and studying Maths. Left this thread after a clash with Ali.
Jelena (Jelena) - a newly born Christian from Germany, with Serbian origins. Studies linguistics, speaks many languages. Fan especially of Kaka, Younes El Aynaoui and Mariano Zabaleta. Incredibly warm personality.
jesus (Tomas) - Inter Milan fan, also known as Esteban "jesus" Cambiasso. Most often described as a "funny guy". Keen on betting, drinking and one night stands (= student of Economy from Prague). And I guess he won't like it what I wrote about him now because he never does.
JMG (Jan) - A German supporter of Petzschner, Nieminen and Young. Studies Economical Administration in Business of something close to that. Knows much about different challenger and futures players, my TT partner.
katica (Kati) - Another young Romanian, Sandra's classmate. Support Younes El Aynaoui, Mariano Zabaleta, Pico Mónaco etc. Looks sexy in a tie and drinks wine with friends at times.
NATAS81 (Dave) - Swedish youtube performer, currently staying in Florida. Has Eastern European origins. PimPim's mad supporter and NHL enjoyer. Posts faster than me and it has to prove something, lol!
Nathaliia ( :tape: ) - Whining cry-baby, loser at life, a drama queen. Only she could create such a terrible thread like this one.
Princesa! (Nicole) - German (with Eastern European origins) Psychology student in early 20s. The one that you want to love. She's perfect at seducing. Has a love-hate relationship with jesus in this thread. Mr Not So Big is her hmm, good friend that she can't be with.
psichogaucho (Santiago) - the only Argentinian in our thread: but a crazy one. In his 30s, works at the pub (hates it), keen on literature. Dislikes football (yes). Likes basketball and Guillermo Coria instead. Is a law student for many years already.
Sandra (Sandra) - Highschool student from Romania. Has a boyfriend and a crush on Mariusz Fyrstenberg. Supports also Marat Safin, Lena Dementieva and Kaka. Fan of Placebo. Loves to travel.
scarecrows (Genci) - Multiple tennis national champion of Albania. Also a tennis coach and sport TV commentator, who graduated from medicine. His favourite band is Radiohead. After spending two night with him in Stockholm, I can guarantee he's a fine guy.
Slice (Wojtek) - My good friend from Poland. A guy with his psyche twisted in a way. Deeply into politics, international affairs, claycourt heroes and good music.
SloKid (Milan) - Slovenian law student, who found his way here from WTAhell. Living proof that a WTA fan can be also a human. Fan of Snow Patrol and Klara Koukalova.
TennisMaster (Jordan) - Canadian (with Polish/Russian/Austrian roots) young gambling addict. Supports Marat Safin. Doesn't like chokers and can't be liking Boredo. Fanatic of ice hockey.
TommyGirl (Eva) - Sadly not active posteress - Psychology student from Holland. Attends a lot of concerts, likes snakes, sings karaoke, doesn't mind to party and is a Tommy Haas admirer.
Washa Koroleva (Olga) - Happy girl with Russian/Jewish blood, born in Ukraine, with German nationality, studying in college in Wales. Model-lookalike, enjoys Guns'n'Roses, Gaston Gaudio and things related to chemistry and biology.
Xristos (Chris) - Legend of MTF in a controversial way, wants to win slams in nearest future. Is a Greek decent Australian. Enjoys chatting with beautiful girls on MSN.
zoltan83 (Nico) - Law student from Belgium. Busy during the day, posts at night. As every Belgian guy, is very nice.

it's a book that is gonna be a textbook in a private university of Albania. the university is about architecture, urbanization etc and the book is called Designing a Project Research

actually it's my sister's job to do it. I was supposed just to help her but actually I'm doing more than half of it

Jelena

I always find it easier to translate into German. Actually it's the way it should be, you translating into your native language. But at uni we also learn (at least in our "first" foreign language - for me Portuguese) to translate into it. But sometimes it really sucks that way round :o

You are a typical woman pissed off that Ali G originally Kazakstan, now take pride that he did. Make up your mind.

I have already said many times why I didn't like the Soviet Union, it's not going to change all of a sudden. Just another empire like many others that have come and gone, or is that too complex to understand?

Have you been drinking too much horse milk or something? Come on, if you are going to accuse me of being pro-American then there is absolutely no way I can even entertain a half serious discussion on this subject, let alone a serious one.

Hahaha, you still don't get it do you? What give credit to them for trying and failing to make communism work, cause they actually forgot about what communism was meant to be and never evolved with the times and looked what happened.

They just replaced one ruling class with another one? That takes skill to do that. One for all and for the party and the party is what counts, but hey the USSR was perfect and the Russians never did any wrong and every single country is perfect.

Give credit for sending plenty of people to gulags and purging the wrong kind of individuals that didn't fit into the system. Yes, that needs to be applauded for sure. Also I need to give credit for the boundaries that were drawn up, which has helped lead to ethnic conflict in Central Asia.

Holy Roman Empire, Ottomans, Austro-Hungarian, Kalmar Union and the Soviets all were alive and all are dead, but hey there might be reasons for this. I forgot the invasions of Hungary, then Czechoslovakia were great things as well.

Gorbachev had to do something economically and he didn't want the Union to break up, he expected it to stay together, but we all know what happened to that.

So all the costs were worth it then?

I have a question what sort of dialect does Behrend speak with? I mean I figured since he was raised in Brasil and I don't think he moved to Germany until he was a pro.

What's the nearest major city to Alsdorf?

I don't know if there was a better choice against Argentina, but a half year later he chose Behrend over Kiefer and that was strange.

I didn't hear him speak for some years now, so I don't remember exactly, but I think his German was fluent, but you can hear the South American dialect.

Cologne and Düsseldorf should be the nearest to Alsdorf.

As much as I like big Tomas, well not as much as Nathii, he has no right to be ever selected in front of a fit Kiefer.

So you can still tell he is a South American then when he speaks German? For memory I think he supports Dortmund.

I chatted to him in summer 2005. He's fluent in German, but you can hear that actually German is a foreign language for him. Not really that he was raised in South America, but that Gernan isn't his native language.

Well Tomas would have been speaking Portuguese most of his childhood so it makes sense and it's his grandparents that migrated to Brasil, and I was commenting on what JMG said about being able to tell he has a South American dialect, though when he speaks English he sounds like a German.

Rodrigo Costa? Probably, but we usually don't call players by their full names here How was him?

he's a defender, as far as I know he played at Gremio until 2001 and went then to Germany.

Looks like Blaszczyk is clearly the best now. I remember how Boll ripped him a fat one two years ago. I bet there is a huge number of Chinese players who are better than guys like Krzeszewski, but are not able to play the ITTF events, so the other Poles are probably weaker than their ranking suggests. ;)
