Even though I really like Cañas, I think López deserves to get a tittle at this point of his career.
It should be a tight match with many aces by Feli, who I think is better on this surface.

Without bothering to look it up, I would have to think that Lopez's game would feed right into Canas' hands. I'm not sure that Lopez has the patience for that type of resistence, so I'll go with Canas ;)

only if he serves as smoothly as he combs his hair, Feliciano will win this
I think Canas will win
Has long has Canas hits every ball to Lopez's backhand which is IMO one of the worst shots in Tennis he will win
If Lopez serves well though ;)

Over the five set format I can't envisage a Lopez win, unless he is extremely patient on his backhand side, which actually isn't that bad when he commits to slicing it as long as needed and doesn't get frustrated. But it breaks down too easily due to mental frailty more than anything else, and that will aid the Grindmaster to no end.

Feli beat Canas in their only match but it was 10-8 in the 5th set at Wimbledon, so the omens for Canas are good as this match was on his worst surface, and he almost managed to beat him.
Canas the warrior in 4 sets, but Lopez will always be pretty.

um, im not the biggest fan of either of these players so i dont know all too well how they would play against each other, but based on his recent results im gonna go with Canas.
