Hard to tell, it should be very interresting match, both guys have similar game, big powerfull groundstrokes, great serve and net game, but Berdych has better ROS, so i think this could be what will be deciding. Also their play only once - in Beijing few weeks ago and Berdych was better player, he was winning his service games easier, also TSonga generally sucks against players like Berdych.

I wish both could lose. But I prefer Clownga to Birdshit.

Tsonga will take this.

Tsonga troubled Fed, and beat Nadal superbly.

Berdych in contrast struggled to beat an under par Djokovic, eventually losing, and Tipsy had match points against him. And heaven knows Ferrer was a break and a set up at 4-3 in the second set before crumbling.

It'll be a Federer Tsonga final. And it'll be a great match.

Tsonga has a poor ROS and generally loses to big servers. But Berdych serve was shit all week. 45% of first serves in. So I go with Tsonga in 3.

The 90's MASTERS scenario would go like this Tsonga somehow reaches the final and beats heavy favorite Fed for the title after losing to him in the RR...I VERY MUCH HOPE that does not happen..

I will go for Birdshith in 3..because he WILL fold in the final...he's just that type of guy doesn't enjoy playing finals...

Like in Beijing the real thing that determined the match was Tsonga's return of serve. I think the same thing may be the reason for a Berdych win tomorrow.

If it weren't for a very generous Lubi...he wouldn't even have a masters series title so yeah..he feels the pressure too much..looking at him Murray isn't all that bad

Berdych played 3 tough 3-setters in group and has less than 24 hour rest before semifinal. Tsonga is more fresh and this may decide outcome of the match. I say Tsonga in 3.

Berdych deserves it a little bit more. But I predicted Tsonga/Fed final, so Tsonga will win in 3 tough ones. Tsonga needs to play it smart, Berdych chokes big forehands when he has some golden opportunities, so Tsonga should be able to defeat him via less UEs and a better serve since the Berdych serve isn't consistent as his.

Wonderful. 2 most dangerous opponents Olderer could face are gonna tire each other out while Olderer faces a clay court specialist. Does the old man's luck ever end?

Too funny indeed. Ferrer is a notorious giant killer at several of the HC slams, and a former finalist at the WTF - when the court was still fast!

Berdych has won 100% of their matches.

The emperor of Beijing will crush Clownga yet again.

No offense for the bitterness, but IMO -- Nothing to see here. Disgusting bye to the final for Luckdych in 3 lopsided sets. Congrats Jason already .

Um, what about 6-3, 6-0 over your boyfriend?

The winner will finish the year at number 6. It would be the equal highest year end ranking for both. Berdych finished 6th last year and Tsonga finished 6th in 2008.

While the other SF (Federer-Ferrer) is featuring one of the worst match-ups in history of WTF, this is a real 50-50 match and could be a nail biter. Well, I won't be biting my nails but I will enjoy watching this match from my comfy sofa. :) I will watch Federer too of course.

Let's just hope the winner doesn't get too tired and has some fuel left in the tank for the final match against Goderer.
After doing my flawless analysis I say Berdych in 3. :wavey:

I say Tsonga in 2. Might have picked Berdych if he wasn't worn out from his other matches and from playing yesterday.

Ferrer a clay court specialist. Do you even watch tennis? :lol:Strange. I'd swear he got that one right, calling him what he is i.e. a hard court specialist, during the clay court season, but now that they're playing indoors he is calling him a claycourter.

I think Tsonga has the bigger talent, but Berdych has the lesser clowning tendency. I hope Tsonga pulls out the win. But I have no clue who's going to win. I may wake up at 4 a.m. to watch this. :)

Berdych played nine sets so far in this tournament. Never managed to boost his service percentage: 47% - 47% - 46% - 40% - 50% - 48% - 38% - 49% - 45%.

That said, he must be playing very well since he's the winner in Group A. But I'm afraid it won't suffice against an in-form Tsonga.

Tsonga in three sets is my guess.

Anyway - Federer will be the heavy favorite for the title :)

Tough choice, but my vCash is on Tsonga. I've been really impressed with his volleying and netplay-talents lately and hope it will be enough to put Berdych away (sorry, Certinfy!), as I think artistic talent like Tsonga's should prevail over Berdych's big serving and ball bashing. Just my opinion though.

See me lose all that cash in a couple of hours. ;)

Berdych's serve has been a joke the whole tournament. I'm shocked how he even managed to win a match let alone finish atop of the group. :o

Berdych can get through this if he exposes Tsonga's return/movement and his serve is working. Unfortunately his serve has deserted him all tournament, plus with possible questions over fatigue, Tsonga could win in 2.

Tsonga 3 sets. He'll outserve him, and his forehand will beat him on efficiency (less overhitting from Tsonga I think).

Tsonga will win this one, too much power and he's played well beating nadal and a good performance against Federer last Sunday.

Based on past history picking Berdych, but very hard to pick:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/Players/Head-To-Head.aspx?pId=T786&oId=BA47

A Tsonga slow start and poor returns could be decisive.
