Yeah, this was a really good match. Both played comfortable and Tsonga did make some very fantastic shots. He will be the favourite against Nadal if Nadal can't up his game.

Very goog match but obviously MTF dosen't care. Now if Tsonga lost after wasting a MP this thread would have had 300 posts in no time.

Good situation for Tsonga. With a 3 set loss and a 2 set win.He has pretty much all in his hands,if he beats Nadal he will be through.

FAIL threadtitle, here it is.

Clownga def Bye 7-6 6-1 Fish helped bye under the match..

Fish goes home 0-3 and so he should he isn't a top 8 player and not a top 10 either , just take away the american HC swing..

I was expecting more from Mardy, but obviously he didn't come prepared to play. I think this occasion was a bit too big for him to handle, being his first WTF appearance. With that said, credit to Tsonga for really playing his game well and taking advantage of his opportunities.

Slightly odd match, Jo was playing great at times but wandered way too often. Fish did some nice things but just wasn't good enough today.

If Jo can maintain his highs more against Rafa it'll be an interesting match on thursday

Didn't see all of it, but what I did see was of pretty decent quality. Finally a non-stinker match during this tournament.
Congrats, Jo-Willie! :hatoff:

missed out on this match but since Fish went 0-2 I think he's more or less eliminated. Will need 2-0 vs Federer to have any chance at all and even then all the other matches has to go his way.So he can start to pack the bag. His WTF got ruined by that choke in the Nadal match. Shame because he got a cool hc game.

Tsonga on the otherhand is right back in contention and will likely root for Federer in tonights match. If Federer wins he got everything in his own hands vs Nadal for the final match. Otherwise he must pray that Fish saves him doing a good match vs Fed but I think Fish is heading for a 0-3 now and will give no help to mr Stronga

James Blake doesn't seem to think Mardy is a racist considering they are quite good friends. It's pretty despicable to level that claim against someone.

Tsonga not believing Nadal was that sick the other day.Said he has seen him training very hard and looked fine"When i'm sick, i stay in bed"

i like Tsonga but he needs to stop making assumptions. players can not feel great and practice some. Andy Murray supposedly has felt bad lately and didn't practice AT ALL, and therefore lost his first match. Maybe Nadal cares too much to do the same?

I will laugh if Nadal beats Tsonga in the third round robin match considering how bad his form has been, but then again maybe he will be better in tonight's match

of course he will beat him...Nadal always beats lesser players when he has a motive

Actually if Nadal win it I'll believe Jo is right and Nadal wasn't sooo sick. I think Jo is trying to keep his motivation high. If he sit on his ass, eating popcorn and saying "Nay, piece of cake, he is sick, I'll laugh all the way to the bank with it" he lose in locker room.
