Too easy this one. xdrewitdajx 11-19-2011, 11:46 AM berdych retires for the 3rd time against djokovic this season 1-6, 1-2 Certinfy 11-19-2011, 11:46 AM If the court is a decent speed and Berdych serves well he could well do some damage. He's troubled Djokovic everytime they've played this year: Australian Open - Led 4-1 in 2nd set Dubai - Led by a set Cincinnati - Led by 5-3* nole_no1 11-19-2011, 11:55 AM Nole in 2 Poetik 11-19-2011, 12:08 PM that's because you know shit about tennis....Novak in 2 fairly easy sets 6-3 6-4 ha ha ha, you are funny Saberq 11-19-2011, 12:10 PM If the court is a decent speed and Berdych serves well he could well do some damage. He's troubled Djokovic everytime they've played this year: Australian Open - Led 4-1 in 2nd set Dubai - Led by a set Cincinnati - Led by 5-3* yeah 6-1 7-6 6-1 at the AO was a tough one Certinfy 11-19-2011, 12:11 PM yeah 6-1 7-6 6-1 at the AO was a tough one Not saying it was, but Berdych was by far the better player in the 2nd set, just choked it away but that was NID. :o Saberq 11-19-2011, 12:27 PM Not saying it was, but Berdych was by far the better player in the 2nd set, just choked it away but that was NID. :o true but still..............but on this surface if Novak is playing his game Berdych will lose in 2 ...but I favor him against Murray because he will be the attacking player in that match arm 11-19-2011, 01:35 PM If the court is a decent speed and Berdych serves well he could well do some damage. He's troubled Djokovic everytime they've played this year: Australian Open - Led 4-1 in 2nd set Dubai - Led by a set Cincinnati - Led by 5-3* If you are going to think like that, A LOT of players troubled Nole this year... in the end he lost 4 matches + 1 WO. Saberq 11-19-2011, 01:47 PM If you are going to think like that, A LOT of players troubled Nole this year... in the end he lost 4 matches + 1 WO. he lost one ...he gave them 4 LawrenceOfTennis 11-19-2011, 02:03 PM Berdych has the game......but considering his form vs Federer, expecting a routine win for Djokovic. Certinfy 11-19-2011, 03:44 PM Berdych has the game......but considering his form vs Federer, expecting a routine win for Djokovic. Well I think we have to take in mind the way Federer played as well as that Berdych played for 3hrs 15mins the day before. Still got over 2 days till the match so hopefully we'll see a fairly fast court tomorrow which should give Berdych a better chance. Yolita 11-19-2011, 03:53 PM Berdych has the game......but considering his form vs Federer, expecting a routine win for Djokovic. Let's not forget that Berdych faced Federer after a gruelling match against Murray. He was tired. I still think Novak should win this match. :) philosophicalarf 11-19-2011, 03:54 PM Berdy was playing supremely well in Cincy though, and it's pretty quick out there. But for the injury, he'd probably have won that one. All depends on Djoko's fitness and match sharpness really. Filo V. 11-19-2011, 03:58 PM Djokovic in two comfortable sets if he's healthy and playing well. tribalfusion 11-19-2011, 05:25 PM he lost one ...he gave them 4 Was this meant to be a joke? Saberq 11-19-2011, 05:55 PM Was this meant to be a joke? 50/50 Sonja1989 11-19-2011, 06:07 PM I think Berdych can win but if Djokovic is okay and plays well, no way. Nole fan 11-19-2011, 06:47 PM Berdych won't be as easy as some people think, he's a big hitter with a good repertoire. But if Nole's shoulder doesn't bother him at all and he's around 70% form I see him winning in straights. Saberq 11-19-2011, 06:55 PM Novak is a bad matchup for Berdych period..... coonster14 11-19-2011, 07:16 PM Nole in 3, I think Berdych may win a set because it's Nole's first match in a few weeks and he needs a match to shake off his rustiness. I only see Nole losing to Murray in RR. arm 11-19-2011, 07:18 PM Nole in 3, I think Berdych may win a set because it's Nole's first match in a few weeks and he needs a match to shake off his rustiness. I only see Nole losing to Murray in RR. Nole's last match was 10 days ago. Chirag 11-20-2011, 11:38 AM o.1 Novak Djokovic says he is 100% recovered from his shoulder injury and should be fine for the ATP Finals. "I had problems in the shoulder and before that with my abdominals," he told reporters. "But everything is better. I served a maximum of my ability for two or three days." Since winning the U.S. Open, Djokovic was forced to retire in the semifinals of the Davis Cup, withdrew from Shanghai, was hobbled in his loss to Kei Nishikori in Basel. and withdrew from his quarterfinal of Paris-Bercy. He'll face Tomas Berdych in his first match in London. "The season is long," he said. "The calendar is loaded and the players are struggling to be 100% of all tournaments, especially late in the season." I hope he wins this title if Nadal or Federer dont LawrenceOfTennis 11-20-2011, 11:46 AM No matter what lead will Tomas have (if any) he will choke. Djokovic in 2 routine sets. Sapeod 11-20-2011, 12:49 PM Time for Berdych to beat this joke of a #1. Shinoj 11-20-2011, 12:58 PM No matter what lead will Tomas have (if any) he will choke. Djokovic in 2 routine sets. And i thought you were a Berdych supporter :D Vida 11-20-2011, 12:58 PM Time for Berdych to beat this joke of a #1. hehe, still pissed at old djoko eh? you know, there is a possibility novak will remain no. 1 for some time, might as well get used to it ;) Saberq 11-20-2011, 01:07 PM Time for Berdych to beat this joke of a #1. No Berdych beats joke number 3's not the King of tennis Dejan16 11-20-2011, 03:40 PM No Berdych beats joke number 3's not the King of tennis + 1 :D MuzzahLovah 11-20-2011, 04:52 PM Actually, I predicted Djokovic, but I have no idea what to expect. This is probably the most up in the air first round match. Djokovic hasn't been himself since the US Open, and Berdych is a different player every day. | |
