He's about half way through his career, so 4-5 would be my guess

3 or 4 seems the most realistic.

He will end up with one more than Murray :wavey:

Murray first needs to win 1 :wavey:

All.
Because the Australian Tennis Federations would declare in 2015 that all tournaments before and after that one are Djokovic property.

Murray will need more than one AO to stay 1 behind Djokovic, because I don't see him staying at 2 for the rest of his career.

I went for 4 but he needs to win this one to get to that figure in my opinion. Murray is & will remain in the future a big threat at this slam. Novak at the Australian hasn't so far looked like Nadal at the French or Federer at Wimbledon where in their prime you really could not imagine anyone taking 3 sets off them - I could see Murray beating him & in the next 2 or 3 years players may rise...

The more interesting question is whether Federer will manage to win one this year or next & effectively put the record for AOs (the only record Novak could reach in terms of total slams) out of his reach. He could equal 4 AOs or potentially even get to 5 (tougher...) but if Fed manages to grab another then his chances of equalling/exceeding the record are gone.
