Comfortable for Thomaz.

Bellucci was up a break early in the second and got pegged back in a game where he hit two double faults before pulling away again. He played some nice drop shots on fairly important points, including set point in the first set. Looked in control from the baseline. Reynolds' first serve looks good, and he hit with good depth at times but didn't bring enough to trouble Bellucci.

Bobby looked pretty punchless out there tonight. Bellucci pretty much dominated him, although he didn't play overly great. Bellucci being here is a joke but at least he'll attract some attendance.

Comfortable is the right word.

His play was very impressive in patches, mixed in with some poor, low percentage misses.

This guy has not played any challenger tournament at all this year and now he's playing this thing just to bring some crowd to the event (stadium was almost empty in the other matches). Talk about a clown tournament, hopefully this CTF experiment won't be held ever again in the coming years.

this :o but good job? how? he is playing against challenger level players. this is absurd and if it wasn't already a laughing stock before, the challengers finals is now even more so given the ill logic of having a regular ATP player who has participated in almost zero Challengers this year participate in it. what a joke

you should be ashamed to even have him as your profile picture given the embarassing fact that he accepted in invitation to play in the challenger tour finals at all.

next thing you know you will congratulate him when does well at the "future world tour finals" hahhahah.

but it is remarkable how happy you can get over Belucci looking good against lower ranked players when he is a joke against ATP competition

Yes, he should be very ashamed of himself for accepting an invitation to bring in the fans and the money; especially when half of the spectators are only there to see him play.

Anyway, he didn't make the rules. Send an angry email to the ATP or lodge a petition if you have a problem. You could even get a group together and start a protest for this embarrassing and shameful demonstration of wild card acceptance.

it's the ATPs dumb ass fault if they agree to send him an invitation. in his home ground why should he say no when fans are gonna want to see him play.
