Good result. Hopefully Bachinger and his shitty game does not re-enter the top 100. Rui stepped up the aggression the final two sets and it payed off. Clearly he's a clay courter, but his competitiveness makes him a threat in this competition on slower hard.

Bchinger will beat Stebe and still qualify, mark my words.

so many breaks in that final set, the first 6 games all breaks I think? understandable Machado getting broken nearly every game on hard (albeit very slow hard) but Bachinger clowned this, really should have won. Glad Rui won though I kinda like the guy and he played the better tennis in the decider. there were like 5 people in the crowd watching this :tape::lol:

Glad to see Rui shutting up some people here! He has this big handicap of playing in hard indoor, but still manage a win! No matter what happen in the rest of the tourney (and year), Machado showed he is the best challenger player of the season...
