Players are often worn out by year end. Nadal has complained of being tired & injured for YEC before. Roger wasn't feeling 100% in 2008. Del Po's wrist was probably a factor in 2009. It's actually not a unique situation this year.

PsychoGulbis

But i think its worse than the years before...And i think we will see very boring games because of the many just serve players like tsonga, fish and berdych

Orka_n
11-12-2011, 05:10 PM
There's not much wrong with Murray. Probably not with Nadal either. Djokovic is not 100% but his injury won't prevent him from competing. Federer is in good form and he enjoys the indoors. Berdych is picking up some form despite of his defeat today. Tsonga is dangerous too. Ferrer is Ferrer as always, no big change here. Fish is half-injured sadly.

Personally I think it will be quite interesting to see how it pans out. I hope that the big 4 will get challenged this time.

It will be a great tournament as long as Murray loses in Round Robin
 Murray brings the atp some tactical variety that 99% of the players on tour couldn't dream of. He's far better for tennis than players like Nadal or Djokovic, who are cheaters. In fact, only Federer tops Murray when it comes to how good they are for the tour in general. Murray also makes most of his matches what they are. The Nadal and Djokovic matches in Monte Carlo and Rome this year wouldn't have been the same without Murray. He made those matches. If Murray loses in RR, then we only have Fish, Ferrer and Federer to make up for it. Federer is great and makes up for the fact that Murray is not there. Fish is great to watch. too So is Ferrer, in fact, but they hardly compare to Murray and won't be able to fill the void if he gets knocked out.

All that said, he's making the semi-finals at the very least, so you'll be disappointed :wavey:

 why on earth would you want Nadal to win? Novak will have a challenging enough time defending all his points in 2012; he doesn't need Nadal gaining on him here. The less points Nadal gets, the longer Novak gets to stay at #1.

True but better Nadal than Murray or Fed cant stand the hype for 2 months how they are going to win AO like last year.......Anyway Nadal can gain all he wants he still has to beat Novak in the final right?Novak will defend more than people think next year....

I think a more relevant question is "How bad will MTF be [before they shut this shit down]?"

Murray has been the butt of too many jokes lately. I for one will not stand for it.

It might be because Nadal is a great player and deserves 1 .Every great player has won that title except him so hopefully he does too.I want Nadal to win too if Federer doesnt win But a part of me wants Djokovic to win too because of the season he had .Of course I want federer to win that title first of course but then Nadal :)

Wilander never won WTF, btw :)

But Nadal needs one IMO. all 4 slams, olympic gold + WTF would be a hell of an achievement, considering WTF is played on indoor hard.

Muzzah could save the tournament by snatching everyone's wigs and beat the rest of the top 4 in sequence. Other than that it's probably going to be verses injured Djokovic, injured Fish, and and his turkey Ferrer in one group. Murray and Nadal will have a epic 3 setters and tire themselves out in the other group against Berdych and Tsonga. Fed cakewalks to title again.

I don't mind Fed sweeping the others to win for the 7th time.

But I think Nadal will try to win this because he didn't play much after USO as opposed to his schedule in the past year, so he's in to win it.

Djoker is also just saving for the WTF, but he did it in a 'unsportmanship' manner by faking his injury. I predict he'll be the winner for 2011.

That's not my point. I don't care what you think about Murray, I just find it funny how you mentioned every player that is in the lineup, except for Murray. You didn't even insult him in your post, you just left him out. However, I'm sure Andy would be glad not to be mentioned in your posts...

I'm also sure that Andy would be glad not to be mentioned in your posts, too.
