800 or 700 match wins? :worship: :cheer: Mediocre by Fed but still enough to get the job done in straights.

Horror show from Roger. 35 UEs. 12 more than Monaco

dodo

58 UE between the two of them in 21 games. awesome stuff.

Fucking messy win, hope he plays better against Berdych. Time to finally win this!

not a clean match from Roger, but he did just enough, Monaco grinded well and ran for everything which Federer never likes

next match is a different matchup, unlikely that Fed will go through

A match that definitely didn't match the quality of the occasion.

I won't say that Fed will lose against Berdych because of the long one that he had against Murray today but it'll have to be a lot cleaner from the back of the court. It was almost as if Roger hadn't played on this court before and was completely perplexed by the speed of the surface. Monaco didn't fare much better with an OH smash at the end for the epic fail folder that just about summarised this match.

That was painful.

Hilarious to watch Monaco explode in the first set, as soon as he got ahead.

I hope Fed got the "shank" out of his system and brings his A game against Berdych tomorrow.

Federer said after the match that the court played very slowly, particularly given the amount of spin Monaco puts onto the ball. A real battle for Fed out there. He had a bit of a shocker, but he still had enough to come through.

Best thing in the world if he defeats his nemesis Berdych on a fast indoor court.

This was a shitastic match from Roger  shank after shank after shank and yet he still manages to win in straights :haha:

Berdych will kill him though.

Mugnaco in QF of indoor masters is a joke. And worse, still, Luckerer is facing exhausted Berdych next. Just give him the title and let's go to WTF already. Clearly the organizers want to give Olderer a title he still hasn't won

If they really wanted to give Roger the title, they sure wouldn't make the surface indoor clay, like they did (as evidenced by Monaco getting this far at all).
Don't forget that Monaco has beaten Rafa on hard court (albeit, perma-injured Rafa).

It is a complete joke when you consider Federer since the beginning of Basel for every round has been crap opponents. Whos been his biggest obstacle? A way passed his prime mug-like Roddick these past two weeks

If SetSampras wins the ACC, it doesn't mean as much as when people won it in the 90s - he's got a mug draw.

800 wins is great but Berdych has a good chance and a lot of confidence vs. Roger.

Olderer is rather going nicely. Taking advantage of this period when neither Nadal or Djokovic are fully fit. He must be smugly laughing in the house with Mirka after the matches.

But wait till both get back on song. the Old guy wont have many places to hide then.

Runner up in Valencia and 1/4 in Paris Bercy. This is a great way to finish the year for Pico. Clavet hands are really helping him to calm down his anxiety and improve his return of serves and attacking strategies.
