Frenchies dropping like flies. Pirata. 11-09-2011, 08:50 PM France :haha: MIMIC 11-09-2011, 08:50 PM Bad day at the office for Gilles. He was exceptionally bad today. But his game can bore you to tears so..... orangehat 11-09-2011, 08:50 PM Simon :rolls: What trash. Naudio Spanlatine 11-09-2011, 08:50 PM LAWD :haha: :haha: :haha: :spit: :superlol: djokovicgonzalez 11-09-2011, 08:52 PM That might be worse than losing to Sickerling last year v-money 11-09-2011, 08:55 PM Simon must be relieved that the Asian swing/indoor season is over. Losses to Granollers, Edben, Mannarino, Davydenko and now Monaco to end the year. solowyn 11-09-2011, 08:57 PM :help: :help: Poor Frenchies. MuzzahLovah 11-09-2011, 08:58 PM Has Simon ever had a string of losses this bad? Since losing to Murray in a close match in Bangkok, he's had a 2nd round loss to Ebden and four  first round losses all to vastly inferior players. I just don't get where this is coming from. Hopefully he'll be back to his old self after the break. BEBE91 11-09-2011, 09:06 PM Just pathetic from Simon! Voo de Mar 11-09-2011, 09:06 PM For the first time in the history of the tournament there wasn't a 3-set match in the 2nd round (only two tie-breaks), even Isner won in unusual style today :spit: Arkulari 11-09-2011, 09:12 PM I am not even a fan of Simon but getting bageled by Monaco in indoor hard?  Voo de Mar 11-09-2011, 09:13 PM I am not even a fan of Simon but getting bageled by Monaco in indoor hard?  These indoor hardcourts are slow as ass ;) Dini 11-09-2011, 09:15 PM ...yet he still loses winnable finals like it's nobody's business. I am not even a fan of Simon but getting bageled by Monaco in indoor hard?  Safin got bagelled too by Monaco in 2008 in the same tournament, iirc. Arkulari 11-09-2011, 09:17 PM These indoor hardcourts are slow as ass ;) You got a point there  although Valencia was even slower  Agrajag 11-09-2011, 09:17 PM From another thread: That's what you get for slowing down the courts. Monfils in the finals and Llodra in the semis (Tsonga didn't play) was not enough? I hope all the frenchies bombs out early so they change it back next year. Gasquet will get crushed by Fed tomorrow, and Tsonga will probably lose to Djokovic friday. I'm not blaming all the losses on the courts, but it certainly didn't get any better this way. Orka_n 11-09-2011, 09:18 PM Wow, what a result. Gilles needs to get his head on straight. helvet empire 11-09-2011, 09:23 PM so what? it's clay, that was to be expected. Plus Simon isn't exactly on a good run these days Gustavo Kuerten 11-09-2011, 10:03 PM gbL8c6Mvcrc TommyCZE 11-09-2011, 10:30 PM Simug at his finest. Filo V. 11-10-2011, 01:07 AM Gonna be really interesting to see where Simon is next season, his level really since at least the USO has not been good at all. Injuries probably caught up to him during the indoor season. Needs to rest up and get back to 100%. cutesteve22 11-10-2011, 03:07 AM played like shit and remind me last year against Granollers, standed on the court and did nothing RonaldGomez 11-10-2011, 08:53 AM Gonna be really interesting to see where Simon is next season, his level really since at least the USO has not been good at all. Gillou has been very misterious these last weeks in french newspapers. He says that he's trying to make changes in his game, in order to progress in the rankings. He states that he knows where's going. But the results are not there obviously. LawrenceOfTennis 11-10-2011, 08:59 AM Good for tennis. Pusher out. Art(e)mio 11-10-2011, 12:07 PM :help: :help: Poor Frenchies. This. Total meltdown... Geo 11-10-2011, 12:10 PM :spit: :rolls: awesome. Good riddance. Hian-GOAT 11-10-2011, 12:12 PM Yeah yeah fuck yes :woohoo: So many gooooooooooooood results: Tipsarevic and now Pushimon out  Juan  simplet 11-10-2011, 12:14 PM No, it has nothing to do with injuries imo. I'd understand if he was serving and volleying on first and second serves all the way, but he was just pushing the ball in the middle of the court and still managed to shank one into the stands every third point or so. That's not experimenting, that's just playing like shit. Beat 11-10-2011, 12:25 PM wow, somebody's slumping pretty badly  nalbyfan 11-10-2011, 01:38 PM Gracias Pico, you make me feel happy as each time this awful Simon loses...a bagel...what a delight... Good luck Argies for DC final RonaldGomez 11-10-2011, 04:21 PM I'd understand if he was serving and volleying on first and second serves all the way, but he was just pushing the ball in the middle of the court and still managed to shank one into the stands every third point or so. That's not experimenting, that's just playing like shit. Ok I haven't see him playing since some weeks now. It's weird because he's honest and already has interesting things to say. That's why I sais he was misterious lately as I didn't get the point of what he was saying. Ouragan 11-10-2011, 05:06 PM A slump. Not his first! He's still top 20, nothing to get all fussed up about. And Monaco is quite hot right now. Sombrerero loco 11-10-2011, 07:03 PM gillou  awful result | |
