I hope to see the Russians and Slovaks to well.
As for my own country... well, Alicia is in form. Maybe she can inspire Mark to return to form, though I'd rather have that happen on March 7th.

Go Slovaks
Dominik had better do well since he's choosing to play for his country over defending his Adelaide title (he'll lose points which might affect his AO seeding)!

Just grabbed my seats for session 11 (USA v Aus/Slovak Republic v France or Netherlands) and session 7 (Russia v Argentina)

I'll probably end up grabbing a seat to Germany v Russia or Argentina at a later date

Please don't tell me they couldn't find a higher ranked American men's player. Blake should be playing the real points tournaments to reestablish his ranking, not exhibitions.

I think the US will win every women's singles.. but James is questionable @ this time, I mean he hasn't played in forever, I wish Serena and Roddick would play. And Hingis would come back to play with Fed. & siblings Safin and Safina:)

He's won the last 2 hopman cups, so if he's fit I guess he'd want to go for the chance at 3 straight

I think it would have been Blake's decision to come too because he said last year how much he loves the tournament and that, as long as they kept inviting him back, he'd keep coming back.

You havent seen Blake play at the Hopman Cup have you? :o

It's not televised here but I recall that he lost at least 1-2 matches each year, but the American women's players went undefeated and won the Cup.

I mean like it's unusual for someone to win the same tournament in consecutive years, especially an exhibition.

I'm just pointing that the higher ranked Americans like Dent and Fish or Spadea should have been offered the opportunity and Blake should be concentrating on trying to be a top 100 player again, he's not always going to get the kind of draw's that he's had the last two couple at the Aussie.
