I didn't know this event was 85K, was it upgraded?

Hopefully one of my faves can take the title here. Specifically Florent, Simon or Ivo.

Now I have to root extra hard for Benoit since he lost all 70 points from the Open. And also still for Florent, Simon and Ivo. All but Ivo should be seeded so hopefully they get easy draws.

The last section is incredibly weak. Good that Benoit and Simon are there but unfortunately only one of them will make the SF should they play.

Florent should make the SF at least, but he probably wont. Hopefully he won't fail again and will make something happen as he absolutely needs to.

Hopefully Robert loses early, and Andi Beck makes the final on the top half.

the 2nd set in the paire match was so funny

paire won about 25 more return points , had about 8 bps, 4sps.

broke a raquette, got a code violation and his attitude on court was simply childish

i hold my hands up on this one, paire is very overated, no mental strength whatsoever, just relies on pure talent.

Unacceptable loss from Benoit. But expected, since he still has zero challenger titles. Had a much better week to this point than Carreno and was in control through that entire second set, and once again failed to capitalize on an opportunity. Very disappointing.

Surprised. Not disappointed. I really considered Pablo an afterthought for the title heading into the SF but two very good wins for him. His form hadn't been that great in challengers the last while. Now he has a very realistic shot at finishing top 100 this year which would be a great accomplishment.

As for Andi, he can't seem to close the deal and win titles but he's continuing to go deep in the challengers he plays. Indoor coming up and he should continue doing well.

misty1
09-04-2011, 04:28 PM
