Simone with the likely revenge rematch with Veic from RG qualifying. Hopefully he beats him this time. He has a good draw to qualify.

Schoorel has a very good draw to qualify.

Ramos should be able to qualify comfortably.

I can see Crivoi or Struff pulling an upset and beating Rosol.

The other sections are open sections where I can see a few players winning.

Marsel really should qualify.

Ramos, Ilhan and Schoorel have good draws and they should qualify. Bolelli will beat Veic i think. Hamburg's clay is fast.

I can see Struff surprising all of people from that top section. He really can beat Crivoi but Rosol will be a tough one, for sure.

That last section is very open. Everyone can qualify from there except Krawietz.

Really unfortunate, I expected something from Thomas in this event.

At least Albert and Simone won easily.

Galdon def. Schoorel 6-7 6-1 7-6
Hernych def. Klizan 6-2 6-0
Knittel def. Krawietz 6-4 6-4

Really surprised with Schoorel.

Klizan must be injured.

Struff takes the first set against Crivoi, 7-6(4). Hope he wins the second set, too.

Olaso set and break up against Begemann, Ilhan break up against Puc and Sousa set up against Navarro.

I'm glad for Ramos, Bolelli and Ilhan. I hope they will have a good place in MD.

Very good win for Crivoi, but not hugely surprising.

Very close to losing for Simone. I'm surprised, but at least he got the job done. A close win should help with the confidence.

The rest of the scores are expected.
