Congrats to Belgium :)

I've always rated Malisse quite high in all the "Who has the most talent?" threads and it looks like Malisse has since VERY LONG TIME a good tournament again and shows some better things than just losing to anybody.
His hardcourt season was a complete shit.
Glad that Lyon starts better for him.

Not a chance mate. Santana has been absolutely awesome, the only go who might challenge him is Schilling. Schilling had one more win than santana, but led him in ERA, Strikeouts and a bunch more categories. If Santana doesn't win the CY Young it is a disgrace!!

Brown got shelled after he came back from a broken hand and was slated to be in the bullpen. The only reason he is in the rotation is because El duque has a bit of a dead arm right now so they are trying to give him as much rest as possible.

Kristen

lol junekidd... Robin is a good player, and can be great when he wants to be (the beauty of Swedes!)

Joachim On his record vs. Soderling: “Every time you lead 2-0 against someone it’s always a good feeling when you go on the court but I mean he’s a tough opponent, he was quarterfinalist last week, with set points against Federer so it’s going to be a tough match tomorrow.”

you are not biased Neely. It is true that most upsets came from indoor tournament because most of the games are dicided by a few points. This is why indoors is so hard to cap for us gamblers.

Neely
10-08-2004, 04:07 PM
Any tips btw, I'm not getting the best strategy to deal with whole odds-thing yet.
my personal rule is: never bet too much of your overall money and bet in such a way that you still have something left if you go on a losing streak (like losing 6 or 7 matches in a row)

having 600$ and betting 300$ on each match is not good IMO because you could be bankrupt just after losing two matches, something that could very likely always happen.

Ah well... I'm going to bed without him... without his scores, of course :aplot:
At least this way I wont sit here defending my guys in the next two matches (and I'd do it, whether it was necessary to or not  )

Fingers crossed at least one of my guys gets through. Jurgen needs to do well :yeah:

BTW, I don't think so.
IMO Ferrer played exactly what is needed indoor: strong serves, offensive tennis, hard hitting from the baseline, courageous play and attacking the net when there is a good opportunity.

I think Björkman didn't play so bad, he tried everything and threw everything at Ferrer that he had, but it wasn't enough because Ferrer outclassed totally him this day.
