ok bcuz im a mind reader, eres hows its gonna go in his defence of the madrid masters.....

he blows away first round opponent in straight sets, and suddenly 'he's back'. he sez hes injury free n 100% fit. so all of us r like wooooooo!!!!! :worship:

and then, as usual, he crashes out 2nd round, in an embarassing way, 2 sum1 he'd usually whip in straight sets. it always happens like this...

I don't expect a great deal... but I pretty much agree with Roisin. Big celebration for winning the 1st round match, the big disappointment when he loses in the 2nd...

I dunno... depends on the draw.... But the tournament is full of good players. Maybe he'll be lucky and get a miracle. Doubt it

Talking about the draw.Well,I think Juan can really beat Ferrer, that guy is so ordinary, but he can't win.So no easy players for him now! However,I still wait one day he will enter into R3.

i don't think he'll win either, but you never know, he might suprise us. I think the off season break might be the best thing for him, gives him time to regain confidence and make sure he is 100% injury free. I don't know about you guys but i don't know how much more losing i can take, man i feel so bad and sorry for him

roisin

I was at school during the French Open. Luckily, I was in Computer Science, and when we were supposed to be programming, I had the Java on one side and the French Open livescores on the other. And all I saw was the first set, and I was like, "ArghaldghagEHVGNLADFNLASIUJERHFBG, ANOTHER LOSS!!!!!!!!!!" And left fuming.

And then in Calculus, I pretended to go to the bathroom, ran to the library, and checked the final score. And I was ecstatic.

I think changing his raquet right before the tourny was a very stupid idea. Couldn't he have waited until after DC, at least then he would have given himself time to get used to it. Not that im saying it was the raquets fault he lost  but it prob didn't help

Nothing is left to say! I think everything that has to be said is already said.

Seems like he's decided to skip the Paris masters and the next event he would be playing is DC (Jordi's dilemma)

Till then, we can keep posting the same things again.

Ferrero to rest until Davis Cup final
Thu 21 October, 2004 16:26

MADRID, Oct 21 (Reuters) - Juan Carlos Ferrero will not play again until the Davis Cup final between Spain and the United States in December.

"I need 15 or 20 days to rest and the same amount of time to train," Ferrero was quoted as saying in Spanish newspapers on Thursday. "Hopefully I'll be at 100 percent by then. I need to adapt to my new racket."

Former world number one Ferrero has struggled with injury for much of this season and slipped to 33rd in the rankings.

His hopes of a defence of his Madrid Masters title were dashed on Wednesday when he lost 6-3 6-1 to Luis Horna of Peru in the second round.

Despite his struggles, Ferrero remains an integral part of Spain's Davis Cup team and is almost certain to play singles against the U.S. in Seville from December 3 to 5.

Me too Roisin. Remember, he used a experiment racquet in the USO finals last year? Finals is not the place to experiment!

i realy hope JC gets accostomed to his racket before DC, and that his rest helps himplay better. This is all so frustrating.
