Almost there, Ferrer's probably the next one.
I think he'll win that match without problems.

gonzo:sad:

the result is completely expected but seeing gonzo get the upset would have been a hell of alot more entertaining and nice to see

48 winners, 13 u/e :worship:

15/21 at the net.

Shame about his portion of the draw, I fancy him to beat Ferrer and I think vs any of the top 4 other than Fed he'd give them fits.

Oh well, happy to see him looking great on grass and having a decent run so far =)

(Gonzo making a good comeback so far, will be dangerous on the hardcout swing imo)

3rd round at Wimbledon after a long injury break is an excellent result
If you'd ask him before the tournament if he'd be satisfied with a 3rd round here he'd definetly say yes

Well done Gonzo :yeah:
Well done Tsonga pls beat Ferrer :yeah:

Too bad Gonzo couldn't play as well as he did against Dolgo.

Gonzo was bad today.. couldn't get his serve to work and was missing easy shots.

This wasn't a surprising result. I predicted Tsonga to win before the match, but I'm still sad, because I really like Gonzo. Tsonga deserves credit though. He is playing so well on grass, so solid! His serve was working, he was returning well, forehand looked strong and movement was good!

I'll try to look positively at this, as a fan of Feña. He reached the third round, he played some excellent matches here. He was impressive against Dolgo. I'll take this result. It's not too bad considering his comeback, and having not played many matches lately. I'm proud of you Fer!

Expected. Great for Gonzalez that he reached the 3rd round.

Convincing from Tsonga, but Gonzo wasn't quite up to par. Good run for him though for coming back, hope to see him have a good summer

Gonzo had a problem in the right knee and had it taped in the first set.

Hope it´s nothing serious.

Gonzo without the serve has nothing to do against top 20 guys, hopefully he stays healthy the rest of the season to reach the top 100 soon

why won't this mug retire?

How is he a mug? The poor guy is coming back from injury.

On top of that, he's going to retire anyways, this is a farewell tour.

He'll probably be finished after the end of the USO.

why won't this mug retire?

Because he's played two matches in a year and has still managed to make the 3rd round of Wimbledon. :yeah:

why won't this mug retire?

Guy comes out of an extended break and reaches the 3rd round of the GS of his worst surface, and he has to retire?

Back on topic, Jo is just simply better than Gonzo on this surface, hope Gonzo makes an impact during the hardcourt season, fun player.

Keep trucking Jo :rocker2:

Too good.

Is it confirmed he won't try another season? Seems like an odd choice to train so hard for so little.

Awesome, should easily beat Ferrer now and then maybe take a set against Federer.

Gonzo exceeded expectations really, he was considered underdog against Dolgopolov so a 3rd round is a good showing.

Gonzo at 100% even at this age would not go down so easily to Tsonga.

Expected. Sadly. I remember their match, it was hard for Gonzo even so he had good form and Tsonga played quite bad compared to himself. Sadly I missed this one but I'm not surprised because of result. Finding the best form after injury at Gonzo's age is hard thing.
